"I would give high marks to the staff, however to call this a "resort is a stretch. At best, I would say a basic, functional resort. Two smallish pools, no food or drink (some basics in the lobby), chipped paint on some doors, and AC units that "rattle" (at least ours. On the beach is a plus and nearby cafes. I would conclude that it is somewhat overpriced for what you get in this property."

"dresser broken, room not very clean, dropped key behind desk, moved desk to retrieve key card and do not think it has been thoroughly cleaned in years.
only 2 small elevators for 10 floors of people, only enough parking for 1/2-3/4 of the guests staying at hotel, so don’t drive to dinner or you will not have a spot and have to run through the pouring rain across a busy road with kids in the middle of Daytona.
nice view, decent breakfast(great for kids), nice pool (also great for kids.)

"This hotel is right off the beach which we loved. The staff during the checkin process was friendly and helpful. Both the breakfast buffet and lunch we ordered from the restaurant was delicious and affordable for my party of 4. The room was clean and I loved the ocean view. An unexpected cold front came during our stay but we were still able to enjoy the pool and beach on Saturday. Loved the free s’mores kit provided each night. And the bar drinks were good.
