This sixth floor unit with its beach/nautical décor is perfect for a couple or small family. The condo is equipped with everything you need for comfort and convenience. The open, living area has a 50 inch TV with DVD, stereo system and high-speed internet connection. Bunk room has 24' TV and the master bedroom has its own 40 inch TV and DVD player and view of the gulf. The fully-equipped kitchen has plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils for those who like to cook. There is seating for 4 at the dining table with room for 2 at the breakfast bar. The washer and dryer make it easy to keep those beach towels clean or to get a head-start on the laundry before leaving. Ceramic tile in living areas, carpet in master & bunk room.

Children will stay entertained for hours with all the water features at Destin West Beach & Bay Resort. Adults will also enjoy the carefree feeling of floating around the lazy river, reading underneath a palm tree or just sunning on the pool deck. The Choctawhatchee Bay provides an ever-changing view – barges and other watercraft, along with sailboats, windsurfers, and dolphins creating interest during the day and beautiful lights at night. The beach lovers in the family will not mind the 7-9 minute walk across the skybridge to get to the beach. Beach service is available for umbrella, chair and boogie board rentals. Guests at Destin West get to enjoy amenities beach and bayside.

Located only 6 miles from Destin – same gorgeous beaches, but none of the crowds and a whole lot less traffic!

Overall a great stay. The walk to the beach was farther than we expected. The view of the pool and the bay was great. Quick response when I had questions. Needs a good deep clean and some updating. But would definitely stay here again! The bunk room is small so if you have bigger kids it’s a little inconvenient. The couch was broken I did contact the owner and she said it was getting replaced. There was an air mattress available onsite. Does not have beach towels so make sure you take your own. Those are just some things I wish I had known in advance. However they didn’t hinder our stay much and we still had a great time!

Check-in was very easy. We arrived early and was able to get in about 45 minutes before our actual time, which was nice. The location is great, you get great views of the bay and ocean. Easy access to the beach with the skywalk. The size of the condo was perfect for 4 people. The only thing that I wished was better was the cleaning. This condo could use a deep clean. Also, make sure you bring your own beach towels, chairs, umbrella, toys, etc., because there isn't any to that in the condo.

I wouldn't recommend this condo, but property yes!

The condo needs work - it's definitely dirty and falling apart. We had to put something on part of the floor because it was coming up and we kept catching out feet on it.The couch is NOT a bed. My daughter and I actually got stuck because it fell backwards when we were laying on it and had to yell for my husband. So she stayed in the master with us - not ideal. It is not correct that this sleeps 6. It sleeps 4. I would have rented another place if I would have known, and did ask for a partial refund but no response.The air wouldn't go below 75. The dryer vent was broke off inside but I text and never heard back from anyone. The freezer wouldn't freeze until the second day, also text someone with no response.Someone did respond to the wifi - but responded with it's terrible. So it didn't work anyways.The resort - amazing! LOVED the lazy river! Loved the location and the bayside - loved fishing right there. But won't stay in this condo again.

The propeety was amazing the pools were so clean and refreshing, easy walk to the beach and some restaurants. Everyone one so friendly and helpful. The condo could use a paint job and a deep clean. The baseboards doors and walls were filthy and I wouldn’t let my family sit on the coach it needed a deep clean for sure. We loved the property itself

Overall, great stay

Overall, great. However, the couch bed is not sleepable and the top bunk is not big enough for an adult. It is impeccably clean but it would be so much better if we didn’t have to buy staples like salt & pepper. Pool area is clean and beach proximity is good. Great view of the Bay.

Great Location

Lovely view of the bay and pool with lazy river. There is a crosswalk over the busy highway to the beach and restaurants. Good pizza and fun bar next door at Rick’s. Condo had all the amenities we needed and was clean. Check-in was a breeze. We will be back next year.

Overall good stay

Very good location and awesome amenities. Room was clean, however, make sure to definitely pack household essentials if you’re staying more than a few days. Bed in master is not very comfortable and second bedroom is basically a hallway. Pool and hot tub were great. Just wished the lazy river was heated. Overall good stay!

Spring break

We had a great stay! There were 2 adults and 2 teens so the size of the place was perfect for us. Great location overlooking the pool and Bay Area. Pools were clean and grounds very well kept. Perfect walk across the bridge to get to the beach and a few restaurants. Very easy access to everything and we would stay again! Only thing I think could use updating is the squeaky dryer, ouch! I would definietly visit again!

The property and pools are great. The room was nice just had alot of ants. Would be nice to leave broom and mop for cleaning during week. Suggest leaving more toliet paper and trash bags for people who stay over 2 days. Needs a new dryer- Dryer sqeaks alot

Beautiful property

We love Destin West. This is the second time we've stayed here. We love the wave pool, and all the amenities provided. It is close to all the good places to eat. Highly recommend.

Great for kids

We had a great time staying here! Pool area is wonderful and only a short walk to the beach. Condo was equipped with everything we needed. Balcony chairs are tall which made me nervous with the kids but we were extra careful. My only complaint is that there was no ramp to the pool area so I had to carry the stroller up and down stairs. So be aware of that if you have an infant. Overall great stay!
