Our recent stay at this resort was unfortunately filled with avoidable frustrations. From the moment we arrived, we had serious issues with our room lock — we were unable to get into our room multiple times over the first two days and had to call maintenance repeatedly. The lock had to be replaced twice during our stay, and we ended up being moved to a different room on day 3 (our last full day), which was an inconvenience we didn’t expect while on vacation.
The front desk manager assured us the resort fees would be waived due to the inconvenience, but those charges still appeared on our bill. To make matters worse, we weren’t provided a detailed invoice at checkout, nor were we asked to confirm or approve a payment method — they simply charged the card on file without discussion. We emailed to get a copy of the detailed invoice once we arrived home.
The breakfast buffet was another disappointment. Despite the price, it offered only a few hot items and mostly standard continental fare — the kind many hotels provide complimentary.
On the positive side, the pools were nice, and the quick beach access was appreciated. A special mention goes to Danny from maintenance — he was friendly, helpful, and genuinely apologetic about the issues we faced. We appreciated his efforts, even if the overall experience fell far short. But overall, these perks did not make up for the frustrations. Given the experience, we would not recommend this resort and will not be returning.
