The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The exterior of the complex looked as though it had just been painted. Unfortunately when we entered the condo we were very surprised of the poor condition of the furniture. The finish on every piece of non-painted wood furniture was in extremely poor condition. Not even placements for the worn kitchen table until we requested them several times.!Refrigerator was making an extremely loud noise when we walked in. Freezer worked but refrigerator never did cool down and ruined the food we had purchased. Finally repaired w days after we had been complaining.l Efged of the walls were all chipped, definitely needing a paint job. Balcony offered 4 mismatched plastic chairs that should have been replaced years ago. We asked for kitchen towels and pot holders daily. Finally received them 5 days into our rental. We have rented beachfront properties for over 20 years on 30A at various condos ranging from 1-3 bedrooms and using various rental companies including Benchmark (formerly Garret), VRBO, etc, Response from Benchmark this year, regarding various issues, has been poor. In the past the office in Seagrove was always open on the weekend. This year sign on foot said “closed Sat and Sun.”. Who does that on the normal check-in days, especially during spring break. Phone call to number listed said to leave message but don’t call back leaving more messages as that will not improve service . Never did get a return call. I finally texted and did get a responsel 5 hrs. later. All I can say is that for spring break prices it was a huge disappointment and definitely will not return to Beachside. We also will think about whether or. Or we would use Benchmatk in the future
