The West Texan Marfa received a minimalist facelift in 2015, new marble bath in 2018, and new HVAC in 2022. Period details including adobe walls, lime plaster, original oak floors, and double hung windows were preserved and improved by the integration of designer lighting, Affinity paint colors, modern appliances, furnishings and luxury linens. The spacious layout sleeps 6 comfortably with space to entertain, work, or relax. The property has an excellent location in Downtown Marfa and is within a short walk of all the sites. Communication with the host is always prompt. I will once again request this property on my next stay in Marfa.

My adult daughters and I were in town for a wedding. The location can’t be beat. Compared to some of the other rental units that are friends stayed in. Ours was definitely the best! We would stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cool property. Loved the beautiful hardwood floors and the decor. Also, the reading nook in the master bedroom was incredible. The location of this place could not be better; right across from the historic Paesano Hotel and in the heart of the eclectic downtown of Marfa.

Very convenient-walking distance to shops and restaurants. Not much to do in marfa but we had the dogs so the fenced yard and side area was perfect.

My first VRBO and it was great. This place was very clean and the host was easy to communicate with. I really liked the outdoor grill and we used it twice. I would stay here again and recommend to a friend heading to Marfa. The kitchen was great for preparing meals. The location is great for walking around downtown.

This property was exactly as described and pictured, allowing us a delightful getaway. Having the full kitchen also made it easier for one vegan and one non-vegan to eat well in town. Our host Lauren was immediately responsive to our two VERY minor issues, which reassured me we were in good hands. We’d definitely book this property again, and would stay in any property Lauren hosted.

This is the second time we have stayed. The house is ideal for a small group staying in Marfa. It is perfectly located, just a minute from everything. The house is well maintained and appointed. Would come back for sure.

We were in town to visit friends and stayed this beautiful adobe. Everything is well taken care of, kitchen was stocked with every appliance and utensil you could imagine, the side porch was perfect for star gazing and the front porch was fantastic for watching the full moon rise. Everything you could want in a rental was in place. Hot shower, plentiful towels, wonderful HVAC system, comfortable beds and central location. We’re planning our next trip back soon.

Highly recommend. Location is perfect. The VRBO description/photos of the property are accurate. We had one question and the owner responded promptly. Was so glad we stayed here and not at the Hotel Paisano.
