  • The Sand at Ocean Palms Retreat is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor apartment located mid-island with canal views and tranquil neighborhood. Two blocks to the beach mid-way between two beach access points.

    Canal views from the windows and balconies. Manatee, dolphin, and palm trees galore from your kitchen, dining, living room and balcony of your unit. Fully equipped kitchens with a Keurig Coffee Machine, additional seating for guests, Dishwasher, Rain Shower heads and spa shower panels where equipped. Hotel style five star linens and towels complement our comfortable surrounds so you can unwind and relax in style.

    High speed internet, WiFi, Alexa, streaming music and lookup features, 4k streaming smart TV, coded door locks and smart thermostat capabilities, Remote fan and light controls, Recessed lighting with dimmer controls add to the mood setting enjoyment of your stay.

    Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

    Pet friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply. Dogs must be leashed when outdoors, must be cleaned up after and can't be walked on anyone else's property.

    Parking is limited to two vehicles per unit and only park in front of the building.

The location was a five minute walk to the beach, and Publix in a quiet neighborhood. Very dog friendly. We enjoyed the screened balcony. The furniture was okay, but the king size bed was ridiculous high, not easy to get into. The photos are “staged”, as there are no area rugs or “cute” items shown. We were off-season in June, so the price was a good value.

Loved sitting on the screened in porch & looking at the ocean views. Just a short walk to the beach. Close to wonderful restaurants.

Great place for a long weekend

We stayed at The Sands for a long weekend. The condo was very clean and had great amenities. We appreciated the concierge services. We hope to come back when it's a little warmer so we can spend more time lazing on the comfortable screened porch. Thanks for a great stay.

February get away

We had a very nice stay. Bed was comfortable, place was clean. The only thing we would change is the comfort of the livingroom furniture.

Great location in a quiet residential area of Fort Myers Beach! Loved the area of the island with less traffic than downtown. Quick walk to the beach and 1/2 mile to Publix for groceries.

Ocean getaway

We loved the place. Beach decor, updated and fully functioning kitchen to keep our cost down by not eating out. We were within walking distance to the beach, big plus. And had our coffee every morning on the screened in deck, and drinks every evening. Beautiful

Quiet neighborhood with a walk to the beach

Loved our stay at The Sand. It was quiet, quaint, and just a few minute walk to the beach! I would recommend buying any cleaning supplies, coffee, spices, beach gear etc. you may need. Otherwise the stay was amazing and tucked away at the end of the block.

Perfect getaway spot

This quaint spot was the perfect place to stay for a week while exploring the area. The beach is just a few minute walk, the outdoor spout was perfect for rinsing sandy feet, and the patio was a great area for evening relaxation. My maintenance requests were tended to and resolved quickly which is very much appreciated!! They were very responsive.

Would stay again in a heartbeat

The property is exactly as stated in the description. Very close to beach and a fantastic view of the canal. We returned one to to find the power was off, made one call and someone was there to get it fixed within 15 minutes. Nicely decorated, cozy, perfect place to stay. Would definitely rent again!

Stay at the Sands Fort Meyers Beach FL

Very nice unit with a nice view of the waterway. Unit was missing a few items. Maintenance was very prompt in responding to our requests.😉 Thank you for a wonderful place to vacation.🤗

Awesome Place

We stayed here for a week in November and enjoyed our stay. The canal views were great. Enjoyed Keurig coffee in the Lanai every morning. Nice neighborhood and beach is a short walk. All new furnishings and appliances. The place was super clean and fresh. Host was very nice and provided beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Will be back again!
