While our island may look different as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds from Hurricane Ian, bigger and better than ever, we can assure you that the Beach is as spectacular as ever and all of our homes have been approved and inspected to meet your family's needs. We are Fort Myers Beach Strong and will be better than ever!
Situated on a wide canal leading to Estero Bay, Royal Pelican 382 is a gorgeous, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath island condo perfect for you and your family to spend your next vacation at one of the country's top beaches..."Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses" is the long running motto of this home that enjoys the best of locations...right in the Bay Beach Lane exclusive neighborhood on the quiet, southern end of the island...just a short walk to your private beach access.
You are first greeted with a large, air-conditioned, open concept floor plan - the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room and your fabulous Screened In Lanai - offering spacious accommodations that give you and your family plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beautifully remodeled, well-equipped, brand new Kitchen features granite countertops and designer tiled backsplash, along with a full complement of appliances, cookware and dishes. The Dining Area holds a large table that seats 6 and a Breakfast Bar for 2. (Or you can dine out on the lanai to catch the tropical breezes coming in from Estero Bay.) Next to the Dining credenza, there's a wine fridge...for obvious reasons...it's a vacation after all. There's comfy furniture and a large screen TV in the Living Room for family viewing. (This condo has 4 TVs - Living Room, both Bedrooms and the Lanai) One of the sofas is a sleeper and can accommodate two overnight guests. Beyond the living room through the sliding glass doors is the lovely Screened In Lanai offering water views of the canal below full of boats - perfect for entertaining, dining or relaxing - you can even watch your favorite shows out on the Lanai's wall mounted TV.
The Master Bedroom En Suite has a King Sized Bed, its own private lanai - the best spot for reading a book and watching the boats go by on their way out to the Gulf - its own TV for late night viewing and a Master Bath with a Walk In Tiled Shower. The Guest Bedroom has a Queen Sized Bed and a Guest Bath next door, also with a Walk In Tiled Shower. Both beds are outfitted with fresh, designer linens.
For your convenience, there is a a washer/dryer out in the lanai closet, free in-unit WiFi, building elevator, a secured lobby and ample on-site parking. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.
The Royal Pelican complex is located on the exclusive Bay Beach area on the south end of the island and features two heated pools with expansive sundecks full of lounge chairs for sun bathing. There are picnic tables around the pool for you to enjoy. The property is beautifully manicured with tropical plants and is surrounded by wide canals. Like all properties in the Bay Beach area, Royal Pelican offers its own beach access - a quick walk to the other side of the boulevard leads to one of our country's top beaches - 7 miles of sugar sand, blue Gulf waters and world class sunsets. New Tennis/Pickleball Courts for the Bay Beach Area are open and available to all guests. There are also shuffleboard and bocce ball courts.
The amenities are balanced with the natural beauty of sand and surf on the Gulf. You are just steps from the tranquility of the preserve, a stopping point for the migration of the rare white pelicans and roseate spoonbills. This vacation home's ideal location offers easy southbound access to the mainland. The quiet, south end of the island is the perfect place to enjoy the true island lifestyle.

Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer, including our world famous sunsets.
Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Scheduled to re-open January 2025, Santini Marina Plaza, a short walk away, will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.
We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds newer and stronger after Hurricane Ian. We have been hard at work to make the island beautiful again. Despite our recovery mode, we are ready to welcome visitors back and certain you will enjoy our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue Gulf waters. Your vacation home has been renovated and inspected prior to your arrival.
