    The Space:

    Stunningly situated atop the rugged ocean bluffs, Misty Rose enjoys spectacular views of the open ocean and the dramatic shoreline of the Northern California Coast. Throughout its single-level living space, this oceanfront property offers floor-to-ceiling windows, an open, airy design, and such little luxuries as gas fireplaces and jetted bathtubs (including one that overlooks the water). Fit in a quick workout on the exercise equipment in the ocean-facing sunroom or grab a seat on the double-sided deck just in time for sunset.



    What's nearby:

    This oceanfront home enjoys private neighborhood access to Seaside Beach down below, with MacKerricher Beach less than a mile south on Highway 1 and MacKerricher State Park and Ten Mile Beach just beyond. The heart of downtown Fort Bragg is nine miles south, where you can take a scenic ride on the Skunk Train, tour the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, and stop in for a pint at North Coast Brewing. Nine miles further south is the village of Mendocino - the home of Cafe Beaujolais, Mendocino Headlands State Park, and several lovely shops and art galleries.



    *Please note that the home sits right on the edge of the bluff; this home is not recommended for young children.

Beautiful ocean view and hot tub was perfect for soaking after a long hike at the fern gulch trail. Kitchen was well appointed! Lots of towels available for the hot tub too.

The views both from outside and inside the house were stunning. Access to the beach was also a huge bonus.

This home has a dream view! There are windows in the main room ( with a view from the kitchen), and the two primary bedrooms have ocean views. You can hear the waves breaking when you open the windows. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with good knives and an assortment of pots and pans for cooking. AND there is a private beach !!!! Our host was VERY responsive to our questions. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home on the Ocean. Great views, beach access, amenities, kitchen. Don’t think we could have found a better spot to enjoy a week with family.

Amazing Views with plenty of room

Beautiful views...private access to beach...very clean and kitchen is very well equipped. Hot tub is amazing....I definitely would recommend booking.... it was wonderful, relaxing, and has easy access to beach, not far from home away from home.

There were 3 older adults, one on a walker. The listing said beach access… yes… but not for a walker or wheelchair person or a person with knee problems. The hot tub had sand/dirt settled in all seats and started turning cloudy/green the second day. One of our party was very sad about that. The beds were very comfortable, loved all the ocean view large windows with shade covers. We never got the”key” box to open so we finally got the hang of the lock on the door. The one door going from sun room to picnic table wouldn’t open, which wasn’t a big deal as we had the whole beautiful home to enjoy. We would definitely choose this home again but get better info on finding a beach that is wheelchair/walker accessible. The grass walking to the hot tub was quite tall making us unsure of our footing…(we are all close to 70 years young). Where we are from Texas) snakes are abundant and make us Leary of walking in taller grass.

Beautiful Bluff View

The property was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and stunning views of the coast. We loved the beach access from the neighborhood. We hope to return in the future.

Very nice!

The more recent reviews were more accurate in describing the home. The views of the ocean, were at times spectacular! It was a great stay, and we would definitely book it again.

Yearly Trip to Northern California

Every January I travel to Northern California to visit my family and return to my childhood home. Fort Bragg is always on my itinerary for at least 3 or 4 days.I have begun bringing others with me so they may enjoy my adventures.This is my first time staying at the Misty Rose. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year.It is an awesome experience!

Lovely beds were not very comfortable all above very nice stay would do it again

Very nice should have discount on moltapal night stays with all the fees it gets expensive and they hide the fees till you order beside that good lovely place to stay

Amazing

This is a beautiful home with views of the ocean from each room in the house. It provides room for your guests to enjoy eating at a large table in the kitchen to plenty of spaces to sit and talk and just relax. I would recommend this home to everyone!

Everything was great, except could not get the TV the dishwasher and fireplace to Work granted we are a couple of senior 65+ ladies. The views were wonderful beds were comfortable. Would love to come back.

Beautiful Coastal getaway

This property has an amazing view which can be seen from almost every room. It has beach access just a 5 minute drive away. There are 2 master suites and an extra bed room. All the conveniences of home. We would rent this property again.
