  • The suite, ideal for 2 people, is just at the corner with Ponte Vecchio, on the Oltrarno river bank. It is about 592 square feet with a wide living and a lovely balcony facing Arno River. It has an amazing view of the Ponte Vecchio as well as the Ponte Santa Trinita. The living room is open to a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a queen size bed (160x200) and 2 closets. A large bathroom with 2 windows, double sinks and a walk-in shower, is connected with the bedroom. Wash and Dry machine available.
    Linens , pillowcases and towels from professional laundry service. Self check-in available. Wi-Fi and Air conditioning system are provided. Smart TV with usb door. The suite is located on the fourth floor, accessible by lift or with common stairs.

    About “'Tourist tax”:
    From 2011 the City of Florence (resolution of the City Council No. 230/33 )has established the “'Tourist tax”.The tax is applied to non-residents overnight stays in the city of Florence and for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
    From January 2020 the tax rate for this tourist structure is 4 € per person per night.
    This is not due for children up to twelve years old.

    Oltrarno is the center of Florence on the left bank of the Arno river. It is the most bohemian and artistic part of Florence, where you can breathe the atmosphere of the genuine Florence. It is ideal if you are looking for a characteristic place that is downtown but away from the tourist areas.

    The neighborhood is full of important monuments: historic churches, parks and important museums, such as the Pitti gallery, the Boboli gardens and Santo Spirito Church.

    The Ponte Vecchio connects this area with the other side of the city and the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo are right on the other side. The streets of the Oltrarno are filled with fashion boutiques, jewellery designers, artisanal workshops, art galleries and typical markets. In the evening the area is populated with charming restaurants, cantinas and cafés where you can relax and taste Italian and international specialties.

We LOVED our stay. Cristina’s apartment is great and was perfect for just the two of us. She was so incredibly helpful and had the best recommendations. 10/10 would recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Cristiana condo has been beautifully updated, it is clean and comfortable. Unit is on the 4th floor with great views of the Ponte Vecchio, thank God for the elevator, really makes carry luggage up to the unit a breeze.Location was fabulous – close to everything. Cristiana was sure to show us all around the apartment and she has a book with great recommendations. Cristiana is a top notch host, friendly and responded quickly when making out reservations.We extended our stay in Italy and the washer/dry combo unit in the apartment was very useful.

Cristiana, our host was fantastic to work with. Communication was great and very easy. She helped us arrange taxi rides when we needed them and was always available for any assistance, if needed. Her apartment is spectacular in every way. Locations in the Santo Spirito neighborhood had so many quality food options and everything was walkable from the apartment. Including a supermarket!We would gladly stay here again.

Fabulous place with stunning view of Ponte vecchio

Loved the perfect location to everything! Cristiana was so helpful in telling us where everything was and giving suggestions on places to eat. ( even discount cards) Great to be able to do laundry too. Very spacious wonderful place! Would definitely come back if visiting Florence again!

Rented here a couple of times before - still top notch, no disappointments. Cristina is very responsive and helpful . The location of this property is perfection . Across the Ponte Vecchio, you are directly on the Arno with a close view of the Ponte Vecchio - a short walk to the Boboli and all tourist sites across the Ponte Vecchio. Supermarket, fruit and veg market, gelato, coffee shop and MANY fine restaurants are in the neighborhood . The apartment itself is lovely with fine linens and a compact but cute and efficient kitchen with a spacious bath and a lift !! Although one bedroom the sofa ( twin or pullout Queen is extremely comfy. Will continue to rent from Cristina at this and her other fine properties across the Arno.

Absolute perfection!

Don’t miss out on this apartment! It’s simply exquisite! The location, the furniture, the amenities, the size, all beyond perfect. You will never want to close the drapes as the views are mesmerizing and breathtaking! I’ve stayed in so many apartments around the world, and many in Florence too, but this one was truly the best and most accommodating. The beds are comfortable, the towels are luxurious, great light in the bathroom, shower pressure wonderful, WiFi good and strong, and everything you need is at your fingertips. The building is quiet and we appreciated the convenience of the elevator as many apartments in Florence do not have one and the many flights of stairs can be daunting when carrying luggage. That elevator was an added luxury! Cristiana is lovely and is an absolutely divine host. She was there when we arrived and was so engaging and friendly. She provided us with such top notch recommendations and all were deserving of a five star rating. Most of all, she made us feel at home! She wanted us to enjoy our stay and all the incredible detail she has put into this extraordinary apartment. And we did, immensely! We will return most definitely!

A beautiful place revisited

Lovely apartment. Clean, comfortable and totally convenient to all important sights.

Six night stay, never needed a taxi. Found wonderful restaurants, including Trattoria Cammillo, Burro E Acciughe, Fishing Lab, and Del Fagioli. Used a bus once, to visit our favorite Florentine church, San Miniato Al Monte. Cristiana could not have been more helpful or pleasant.

A very special property

We have been traveling to Florence for over 20 years and have been renting apartments for as long as 30 days for the past 12 years. This apartment is a special place. The views are as great as the pictures show. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and new. While you may not get wood/tiled floors or wooden beams the other features more than compensate. The location is perfect and check in and out are as easy as it gets. When we return to Florence will first check to see if this apartment is available and if not we may change our dates of travel in order to stay there.

We had an amazing time and unforgettable memories staying at Cristiana's place! First, the listing description provided on the website was accurate, and the place is as great as it looks on pictures. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. Everything one would need for a comfortable and convenient stay (e.g., kitchen utensils, etc.) -- was there! Cristiana is a great, warm and a hospitable host! Lovely apartment in perfect location

This is the perfect apartment in the perfect spot. We were met by Cristiana who helped us with our parking and then showed us to the apartment ( next door to the carpark). The immediate thing you notice is the view! Large windows overlooking the river and the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is immaculate. It is as described with an entrance, lounge, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and bedroom. A haven from everything happening in the city. I definitely would recommend it, especially to couples and would stay again in a heartbeat

GEM of an Apartment

The location of this apartment was SPECTACULAR! Not only did you have an INCREDIBLE view of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio bridge but you are in walking distance to the entire city. The owner, Cristiana, is an extremely talented architect with a flair for decorating. The high quality furnishings allow the guest to be surrounded by beauty and comfort. The unit is extremely clean and well equipped. Cristiana communicates well and answered all of our questions about Florence. She had some great recommendations for gluten free dining and a fabulous bakery. She was extremely helpful. Cristiana went out of her way to purchase a blender for my use in the apartment when I inquired about her appliances. It was wonderful being able to have a delicious protein smoothie every morning. Many, many thanks Cristiana! I hope your future quests will enjoy this also! Previous reviews have commented on the small kitchen and I must say we managed just fine. If you are an extremely large individual it may be a little tight as it is a one-sided galley kitchenette that is a little narrow. Otherwise the apartment is VERY roomy and allows for the traveler to hang and unpack all their items easily. The washer worked great. It has a wonderful spin cycle and the clothes dried within hours. This was by far my favorite apartment in Italy (and we stayed in many). I hope to return one day and experience the charm of Florence again!

Perfect Location, Close to everything, Amazing View

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in Cristiana's apartment while in Florence and it was the perfect place for us. She was very quick to respond to our messages. The apartment was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Wifi worked great. Being able to do laundry was important for us. There was no dryer, but there is a convenient rack to hang your clothes on. It dried very quickly. Having AC in the bedroom and in the living room was crucial for the hot summer weather. We enjoyed listening to music from some of the restaurants/bars in the evenings, but it doesn't last late into the night. The view is incredible during the day and even more so at night. Be careful leaving the large window open as little tiny bugs do make their way inside being so close to the river. Cristiana was so helpful giving us suggestions for restaurants nearby. There is a grocery store down the street which is so convenient. She also recommended a restaurant in Bargino on our way to Siena that was our best meal in Italy. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend her apartment to our friends and family.

Great apartment- incredible owner/host

The apt is very close to Ponte Vecchio with a great view of the Arno, bridge and surroundings. Large apt very well appointed. The only imperfection was the very small kitchen. It worked for us since we did not plan on cooking. We had a fridge, microwave, and what we needed. But it was small. Again, the rest of the apt was quite large. The owner Cristiana was amazing. So helpful. She went way out of her way to do everything she could to maximize our use of the apt and to enjoy our time in Florence. When we go back we will book with her again!

Stunning views

This apartment was perfect in every way. First the location was the most ideal and I just loved the more residential area and yet so so close --just a walk over the bridge--to all the historic sites. The apartment was nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Christiana was so attentive and helpful when we arrived. We highly recommend as the perfect place to stay while in Florence.
