clean rooms, and near shops and restaurants, you get a discount when eating at their trattoria (food and service was good too) the design of the rooms reflects the classic looks of Italy which was nice. front desk staff was also very helpful.

The room was a good size. They left toiletries and cleaned every day if you asked. There was a ton of dust on the ledges in the room and under the bed had not been cleaned in sometime. The location was very convenient.

We have been staying at Katti house for over 10 years. Maria is lovely and everyone is so helpful. It is in a great location for going anywhere in the city. the rooms are quiet and beautifully decorated. We love staying there and always feel so welcome.

The staff are helpful, the location is convenient but the room is stuffy and the window overlooks a dingy space between buildings. It’s ok for a 1 night stay but I would not have stayed longer

Clean hotel, nice bed, huge bathroom although not en suite. The smoker was kicked out by the hotel staff (Thank you). Excellent location as very near the train station Sta.Maria Novella. There are a lot of restaurants below the hotel. There are Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and of course Italian restaurants to choose from. We got a 10 % discount from eating at Katti restaurant. Thank you Katti for a nice stay.

Clean spacious room in a lovely old building. Excellent location in central Florence, close to everything you need. Good sound proofing to outside. Aircon worked well. Great coffee!

This was the oldest property I stayed! There is no technology, doors, locks, light switches everything was pretty old. You need to walk up 2 floors, no elevator, no reception, remember, this is NOT a hotel, the lady doesn’t speak English, internet is not good at all and the room was full of mosquitoes. Thanks to one of the cleaning ladies we got a device to get some relief but I’m not suggesting this place to couples or families, I was really surprised and I’m not happy at all with the price I paid for this. Hope Expedia do a better job posting the contents. The pictures are not what you will see. Also for me the bathroom was outside of my room which I didn’t see in the description, it’s just mentioned in the subject and there was a break in the line so it moved to the next line and I totally missed it.

部屋は天井が高くとても清潔でした。エアコンも付いていましたので、空調もしっかり対応していました。フロントは2階にあり、オシャレなマダムがお一人で運営されているようでした。フロントへのアクセスが少し難しく、一階のレストランの女性に助けてもらいました。一階に施設へのベルがあるのですが、そちらを押すとマダムが出てきてくれます。初めての経験だったので戸惑いましたが、それ以外は問題ないです。

Es war wunderbar. Die Unterkunft ist in einem mittelalterlichen Palazzo nur 5 Gehminuten vom Dom entfernt in einer ruhigen kleinen Strasse, ideal, ganz liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefúhlt.

Loved the location but was a bit surprised when we checked in at the office, we actually needed to walk a few blocks to the location where we actually stayed. The rooms were spacious along with the bathrooms. Our mattress was a bit on the hard side. A soft mattress pad would go a long ways. The staff was very accomodating.

Nos dijeron que había un error en la app de reservas, y que nuestra habitación no debía tener baño. Que si lo queríamos, teníamos que pagar más, o si no, usar un baño de fuera de la habitación. Y que diésemos gracias a que no se habían dado cuenta antes, porque si no, nos habrían cancelado la reserva (nos dijeron que a unos que entraban al día siguiente se la iban a cancelar). Creo que, de ser cierto el error, no debe asumirlo el cliente, sino quien lo haya cometido.

My stay at Katti House was NOT pleasant. Upon arrival at the check-in location, I had to wait over an hour for someone to show up. The phone listed in Expedia is incorrect. When a lady finally showed up, she didn't seem happy. Why? I don’t know. Her office was a mess, and she couldn’t find my reservation. After waiting about 15-20 minutes, she found that the reservation took my passport information. And guided me to a location nearby for my room. The place looks dirty and smells bad. I saw laundry bags as we walked the stairs to my room. My room was not ready. She (the lady) gave a second room near the stairs. The room had a musty smell, the bathroom was too small, the small TV had wires hanging, and the reception was poor. The pictures shown on the Expedia website do not reflect my room or Katti House. I could not find a hotel room to get out of the hotel. I think the hotel is misrepresented and should NOT be offered at any price.

Worst experience of my life.

This was absolutely a nightmare. We checked in at 8pm. I called 1 hour prior to say what time we would arrive. When we got there Noone was there. We waiting 1.5 hours until she arrived and didn’t speak a work of English. We never got the room we booked. She didn’t apologize. When we got in the room smelled lik feces. The daughters boyfriend tried to help us saying I’ll open the window and the smell should go away. But when he opened the window it wasn’t even to outside it was a utility room that ran all night. When I went to take a shower the glass shower door fell on me. This was the worst experience in my life staying at a hotel. We were travelling around Europe for a month. To all reading this. Beware. Would not ever recommend anyone to stay here. Oh and to top this off none of the outlets worked.

Great location. Comfortable. Classic.

Comfortable. Great location for the train station and 5 mins from the Duomo. Very happy with our stay. Helpful staff - we spent very little time there as you would expect, but they provided what we needed. Clean, reasonable cost for Florence prices and walking distance from everywhere. We would stay here again.

Beau séjour dans un chambre typiquement florentine

Très bien. Bel accueil. Chambre typiquement de style florentin. Propre et spacieux. Pas de bruit. Très près de tout (centre historique), gare, tram pour aéroport. Bon rapport qualité pris. Je recommande pour un séjour de quelques jours à Florence. Personnel très agréable, compréhensif et flexible.

A real gem!

Location is perfect: just a couple of minutes walk to the train station and T1 and T2 tram lines, on a street packed with cafes and restaurants. Great hosts, nice rooms and beautiful building, too.

It was a beautiful little quaint hotel on a lovely Florence avenue bustling with tourists and lovely shops and restaurants. The young lady that greeted us was so accommodating and kind and even kept our luggage while we went to Rome for the weekend even though we weren't coming back to that hotel to stay. Great rates and a memorable experience.
