Medicean Florence Apartment is located in the very heart of Florence’s historic center, on the first floor of a historic building, in one of the city’s most iconic areas.

The apartment is a spacious three-room flat, ideal for families and couples, and consists of:

two bedrooms

two bathrooms

an elegant frescoed living room

a large modern kitchen, a rare feature in the historic center.

The master bedroom is very spacious and features a unique enclosed terrace, which during the Renaissance period was used as a passageway. It overlooks the charming and quiet Piazza dei Cerchi, offering an intimate and peaceful atmosphere.

The second bedroom, decorated with original frescoes, is furnished with two single beds. Its large window overlooks Via della Condotta, right in the lively heart of Florence.

The main bathroom has a bathtub with shower function, while the second bathroom is a convenient guest toilet.

The living room, adorned with prestigious frescoes and furnished in a modern style with soft, relaxing tones, offers:

a selection of books for guests to enjoy relaxing moments after exploring the city.

The kitchen, featuring a charming vaulted ceiling, is fully equipped and offers most of the comforts needed for both short and mid-length stays.

The entire apartment is covered by Wi-Fi connection.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment.

The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic building and does not have an elevator, as is common in Florence’s historic center.

Check-in is always done in person by me or by a co-host, in order to welcome guests, hand over the keys, and provide all the necessary information about the apartment and the city.

We remain available before and during the stay for any needs, to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.


All the main landmarks — Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio — are just a short walk away, as well as Santa Maria Novella train station (about a 10-minute walk).

Perfect location! Everything was within 10-15 minute walk! The central location did come with some street noise, especially on the weekend, which for us happened to be Easter. Safe! Only 32 steps. Bathroom was narrow so taller guests may need to use the half bath. Washer was the small, but functional. Apartment is as pictured with addition of desks in the bedrooms, newer TV and dishwasher. Host was very responsive and incredibly helpful!! We hope we can come back!! Highly recommend!! Grazie Mille!!

The apartment was lovely, in the heart of town by Piazza Della Signoria where the Uffizi Museum also sits along side many sculptures. It’s close to everything! The host of the residence, Marco, was incredibly gracious and kind, promptly responding to any questions. He left us a bottle of wine and cake for our arrival. We’re a party of six and loved the open spaciousness of the apartment It was so much room! No cramped spaces. We were also pleased with a small washer and a huge kitchen with a phenomenal stove set up if you wanted to prepare meals. Everything was clean and nice. Great beds. Clean linens. Def 5 stars for cleanliness, amenities and the helpfulness of the owner who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in Florence. I’m so glad we stayed here instead of a hotel. Perfect experience. Marco will 100% take exceptional care of you! He’s 100% a great person to book an apartment with in Florence!

Great location and great layout of the flat for our family of 4. The only downside, the living room didn’t allow for a place to relax very well, but we spent most of our time outdoors so not a major issue for us. Could be an issue for a family that is looking for a comfortable place to relax. Otherwise a fantastic home!

Great location. Comfortable beds. The cafe across the street was perfect for morning coffee & breakfast. The one downside was the washing machine was musty/moldy and was unable to be used. We were only there 2 nights so didn’t have a chance to have the host fix since the stay was so short. Otherwise we were very happy.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay in Florence at this lovely apartment. It's a great location, and Marco was an amazing host. Check-in was super easy. We didn't cook any meals, but the kitchen was well appointed and useful for drinks and snacks. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Florence.

Central to everything!

The apartment was wonderful, the air-conditioning, amazing! It is walking distances to all the museums, restaurants, bakeries, shopping etc. There is a wine window right outside our door, it was the perfect location. Marco is incredibly responsive, answered almost immediately any questions we had. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful location

We selected this property based on location and it did not disappoint. It’s in a wonderful area with walkable access to museums, galleries, shopping, fabulous restaurants and the sites of lovely old Florence. Perfect Location in Florence

A perfect location in the heart of Florence with plenty of space for the whole family. Two large bedrooms, a family room with a pullout couch, separate kitchen, full bathroom and small water closet. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our short stop in Florence. Despite the crowds in Florence, the apartment was very quiet and is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Would happily stay here again and appreciate the excellent communication from the host. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect location

Apartment had everything we needed. Washer was small, but efficient. Location is hard to beat. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Not a bad walk from the train station and all the other sights. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We met the owner at the outside door. He was very nice and took us through the entire property and showed us how to use things. He also showed us some of the local sites, including a local grocery store, which was greatly appreciated. The property has an interesting layout with the two bedrooms in the back on opposite side of the hall from each other. The living room is a separate narrow room in the middle and there are one and a half baths that separate the rest of the apartment from the kitchen. The beds were all comfortable with nice new sheeting. The bathrooms are very small compared to USA standards but everything works. Contrary to the listing, there is no hot tub. It is only a normal bathtub with glass on half of the tub for a shower. If you are a larger person, good luck with that ;). The kitchen had pots and pans, silverware, dishes, mugs, a toaster, hot water heater for making things like tea, and a small coffee maker. unfortunately, the carafe on the small coffee maker was cracked so we only used it once. The owner is working to replace it. The egg pan should be replaced or use lots of oil so your eggs will not stick. Having some extra coffee was fantastic and much appreciated! Between the kitchen and the half bath, the floor is raised so be careful at night so you don’t stub your toe. Neighborhood seemed very safe place for coffee and breakfast across the street and lots of restaurants in the area.

Excellent location in Florence

Overall we enjoyed this apartment but found it overpriced. Pros: LOCATION, clean, spacious in general, good host responses, easy check-in, nice starter collection of edible bites and liquids, good spaces for hanging clothes, good water pressure and hot water. Cons: both bathrooms are cramped for space (especially the second one), the chairs in the living room are uncomfortable (need good cushions), no microwave, surprise steps in the corridor. No lift for luggage.

Dream location

If you love being in the heart of the action, you’d be hard pressed to find a better accommodation. The apartment was less than 1/2 block from Uffizi square. Only Saturday night was rowdy but we had earplugs so it was no problem for us. Just added to the fun. Very helpful hosts also. Great experience.

Florence Apartment

My husband and our grown sons recently stayed at Tania's apartment in Florence. From the beginning, Tania was very helpful answering all of our questions. She even gave us the name of a wonderful coffee shop and restaurant that we had to try during our stay. We arrived early in the day and were not able to check in until later that afternoon. Tania, however, gave us the name of a storage facility called Stow Your Bags near the apartment. We were able to leave our bags there and return later that afternoon to check in. The apartment is clean, spacious, had everything we needed, including a nice air conditioner. Which is very important when visiting in the summer. I would also suggest bringing extra soap and shampoo. They provide some, but it may not be enough if you are staying for a few days. We also packed a few shopping bags. Made it easier to carry groceries from the nearby markets. The area can be a little noisy at night. However, the apartment is in a great central location close to many shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. If we ever come back to Florence, we would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and spacious apartment right in the middle of Florence and close to everything. Included one king bed (not a smaller queen or double) and two single/twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four. Large, full kitchen and a 4kg washing machine (small by US standards but worked very well). Hosts were very accommodating with recommendations and arranged for a cab to the station on our last day. Location is great and walking distance to just about everything but be prepared for normal city noise when you're so close to the action. Highly recommend.
