"The location of Hobo Oslo is very central and convenient to public transportation and the central train station. It was also very walkable to just about everything in central Oslo. The breakfast was very good, and my family also enjoyed the adjoining pizza restaurant. The bar area is very colorful, lively, and attractive, and we enjoyed the lounge/library also. "Great for an affordable place close to Oslo. About a 35 minute walk from the Opera House. Public transport easy to navigate! Clean and tidy place!"

"Room much smaller than pictures, only one person fits in the bathroom at a time. Bed too soft, needs new mattress. Bathroom drain clogged up and hair in sink. Dead bugs in window upon arrival in room. Shower drain not secure, my wife stepped in shower and drain came off and she hurt her foot and ankle. Terrace in poor shape!!!! Paint wood and at least have 2 chairs and a small table fir guest. Breakfast coffee needs to be better, gad to ho around the corner for decent coffee. Pros- Great...

"Nothing "Grand" about the Grand Oslo. Don't Stay here! The service at the hotel was non-existent. While there was a general strike affecting some hotels in Oslo, they did not inform the guests in advance. They did not compensate the hotel guests in any way - like a free breakfast, dinner or discount. I selected the Grand Oslo over other hotels for it's amenities like the gym, spa and roof top bar. None of them were open for my entire stay. Yet the full rate was charged for a full amenities...
