"The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel and decor looked luxurious and 5 star worthy. Would definitely stay here again. It’s very close to the town centre and train station so a very convenient location. "

"Well maintained facilities. Pub next door was great for dinner. Check in was a bit long winded, was asked for a “check in” number that started with a “2”, showed by Expedia app and booking details but was asked to get ID to release the key."

"Lovely character hotel. Room was excellent and we were upgraded to a suite. Very close to the station. Only one station away from David Austin Rose garden. Restaurant was good also. "

"Gem of a place! Gorgeous old building with high ceilings and plasterwork in the bar and breakfast rooms. Delicious cooked breakfast made to order. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great to have ample parking. Slept well as it was so quiet. Would definitely return if I wanted to visit the area again."

"First stay and had a twin room. £44. The building and interior is quaint and quirky. To some extent it reminded me of my great nans house, with the old black round light switches and 'old' smell. Suits of armour, croquette set, tapestry rocker chair. The rooms had the heating on so lovely and warm on a chilly evening. Boiling hot water for a bath with complementary gel. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Fair size room. Asked for more tea as only 2 bags in the room. Really welcoming...

"It's very close to some of the Iron bridge attractions, close to the river Severn, and within fairly easy walking distance to the town centre. The room we had was a family room, so more than big enough for us. There was no air conditioning, but a large ceiling fan kept the room cool . Food in the restaurant was excellent. "

"Tidy older hotel. Night stand was very dusty, so I’m not sure when our room as used last. Shower was fantastic, warning for the hot water should not be ignored! This was a convenient walk into town. "
