Amazing Experience

So out of the ordinary, amazing views, so comfortable and private. Excellent spot for your next getaway. You won't be disappointed at all but, just the opposite, excited you choose to pick Mike's guest house. Planning on coming back again soon.

Great stay!

The property is absolutely beautiful. The guest house was super clean and perfect for us and our teen girls. The views make you feel like you are looking over Tuscany. The hosts had great communication and gave us a ton of privacy.

My family had such an amazing experience here. The property is gorgeous, clean, and has so much character! The views are stunning and the walking trails were so fun to explore. Mike was super responsive and friendly. Overall, this is probably my favorite place I've ever rented out and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Amazing view, attentive host

Mike was very attentive to our needs, quick to respond to any messages, and checked in periodically to be sure we were enjoying our stay. The view was amazing and the amenities were both fun and relaxing , I would recommend staying here to anyone with or without kids.

Nothing short of amazing

Fantastic location, clean, phenomenal views and comfortable accommodations. Husband and I stayed while in town for a weekend getaway following a work trip. So glad that we found this gem. Didn’t get to explore the trails as much as we would have liked but that leaves something for the next time. Great host and communication. Looking forward to staying again.

Fill up your senses

The pictures tell most of the story, but not all. This charming guest house offers views for tens of miles, and if you hike up to the peak behind the house, you can see the Pacific. The hike out from the outdoor living space is so cool, The multi level pools the fall from the top to the main pool are so peaceful and serene. The views from the huge outdoor patio area are just amazing. Watching the sunset followed by stargazing on lounges filled up our senses in the best way. Our host Mike was top shelf and was very accommodating. If you’re looking for a few nights away from the bustle and you want to get your hike o.n, this is your spot.

Little Oasis

This property is a little oasis up in the hills. It was very clean and well decorated. The pool and deck provides a beautiful view. Mike is very attentive and the nicest guy. He is very responsive and was so kind to let me borrow his wife’s curling iron since I forgot mine. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Outstanding Veiws!

We will definitely be back to stay at this location and telling all my friends and family about it! Mike was excellent at communicating, very friendly, and gracious. The room was immaculate and I loved the small kitchenette! The microwave and fridge were def a plus. The sunset view at night by the pool was phenomenal! Thanks again to Mike and his family for letting us stay at their wonderful home! Wish I could give it a higher rating!

The View Alone is Worth the Price of Admission!

This place is a little slice of paradise. Amazing views and endless hiking trails. The pool , yoga room, and outdoor furniture is simply icing on the cake! Excellent place and a welcoming host. I will definitely be going back regularly.

Working Trip

Very nice property and great views to the west. Mike our host was very responsive to any questions and needs. Stayed with a couple of other buddies and basically just enjoyed the pool and barbecue area because we were to exhausted to do anything else from 2 days of wine bottling for Faulkner Winery in Temecula. Looking forward to sharing again in future with my wife only for quiet and relaxing getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views are priceless, lots of private hiking trails for you to enjoy. Relaxing and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to town if you want to explore. Totally recommend and our host was very kind and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again.

Great for kids and nature lovers

This place and the surrounding area is gorgeous. My daughter (8 yrs) could barely tear herself away from the amazing rock climbing room for long enough to eat; a really great amenity for moms who want to relax while their child is occupied and burning some energy off. Close enough to drive into Temecula if you want and far enough from everything to feel like you are really getting away. We had a great time and the owners were very helpful and nice. Super sweet welcome basket with trail mix for a hike. Will definitely be back.

The views were spectacular. Waking up in the clouds was amazing. The property was breath taking.

Such an amazing weekend! An old friend and myself needed to getaway for a few days and unwind. This was everything we could have asked for and more! Great Weekend Get Away

My wife and I had a great stay at Mountain Rim Retreat. Amazing property with awesome views. Had a great time mountain biking with Mike on the first day of our stay and then we had a great hike on day 2. If you are into nature and want to stay somewhere special this is a great place.

Lovely property, fruit, saltwater pools

Property is easy to get to. We loved the vaulted ceilings and especially the tide pools. There are some sour kumquats and pomegranites, very tasty. The trails were fun and if you are good with an ebike you can ride that. They were very accommodating and highly recommend. Thanks!
