Villa Elia, built in 2012 and decorated with natural stone, is waiting to offer you unforgettable holiday moments and comfortable accommodation for 5 people. The independent and secluded villa not overlooked by neighbours enjoys privacy in its 1000 sq. m not on the main road, but just a few minutes walk from the center of Pitsidia village. Villa Elia is ideal for guests who appreciate the most perfect simplicity in a truly Cretan environment and for those seeking tranquility, seclusion, privacy, peace & total relaxation. Suitable for couples and families.


The Villa (80 sq. m.), designed in the ground floor for your better comfort, features two double bedrooms with Emperor size beds, a comfortable living room, a fully equipped open plan kitchen with dining table and a spacious bathroom, as well as a storeroom. The exterior of the villa includes a 35 sq. m. private swimming pool with children’s pool as well as a well maintained garden with barbeque facilities and outside douche.

Villa Elia has all the amenities you could wish for a perfect Villa holiday. All the rooms are air-conditioned and have fly nets. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and dining table set. In the living room there is satellite TV, CD player and Radio, a wood-burning stove and a sofa bed. The two bedrooms are equipped with Emperor size beds (200x210 cm) and their large wardrobes offer you enough space for your clothing. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, double sinks and a washing machine. The storage room contains all cleaning utensils, ironing board and iron. The Villa is also equipped with Wi-Fi Internet, Safe and Hair-dryer. Sheets and towels are also provided as well as upon request a cot and a high chair . Private parking is available in the front yard.

The private terrace in the front garden overlooking the numerous olive trees as well as the village of Pitsidia is equipped with barbeque facilities and a dining table with chairs. The pool terrace overlooking the Ida moutain is equipped with two outside douches as well as sun loungers and is covered with a wooden pergola, providing that much needed shade. The garden area contains two more than 200 years old olive trees, fruit trees and other Mediterranean flowers.

Car hire is suggested. The nearest restaurants and minimarkets are a 2 minute drive, a 10-15 minute walk.

Maria and Xenophon are wonderful, caring hosts and we recommend this villa highly. Pros: lots of trees and bushes all over the property, which is unusual for the area - makes it feel cooler and more private. Deluxe bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen. Two good-size bedrooms with king beds. Pool is sparkling clean. Short walk into village. Excellent location for exploring the area. Cons: No view, some car noise from nearby road, pool is older. If those are dealbreakers, they have a more deluxe villa, Villa Petra. Excellent hosts.

Wunderbarer Herbsturlaub

Wir hatten eine super schöne Herbstferien Urlaubswoche auf Kreta im Ferienhaus Elia in Pitsidia. Das Haus und der Pool haben genau den Beschreibungen entsprochen und uns sowie unseren Kindern sehr gefallen. Die Lage in Pitsidia mit relativer Nähe zum Meer und sehr schöner Umgebung lud zu vielen Ausflügen ein. Maria und Xenophon waren extrem freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber!

Fantastic villa in a superb location

The villa was spotlessly clean, there were all the essentials we needed for a week and some extras that we hadn't thought of like a cool bag and ice blocks for the beach. The swimming pool is great, the showers are very clean and luxurious, both bedrooms have superking size beds. It is a ten min walk to the nearest village and a 3 mile drive to Matala beach which is an amazing place. Maria and Xenophon are brilliant hosts and left us some lovely breakfast items and a superb leaving gift.

traumhaft schön - Kreta im Frühling ist immer eine Reise wert!

wir wurden in der wunderschönen Villa herzlich willkommen geheißen inkl. einer Erstausstattung mit Obst, Gemüse und Getränken. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön angelegt und es gibt alle erdenklichen Küchenkräuter zur freien Verfügung, Zitronenbäume und ein Gemüsebeet, welches natürlich noch nicht erntebereit war (Ende März), im Sommer aber mit Toaten und Co. aufwarten wird. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und das Bad ist super schön. In der Küche sind alle wichtigten Utensilien vorhanden inkl. Reinigungszubehör und auch Salz, Zucker, Tee u.s.w. Es waren mehr als ausreichend Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden. Fazit: wir reisen seit 20 Jahren ausschließlich als Selbstversorger durch Europa und haben schon viele Häuser und Appatments gemietet. Die Villa Elia gehört ab jetzt zu unseren Favoriten und wir werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen. Maria & Xenophon sind herzliche Gastgeber und überraschen mit lieben Aufmerksamkeiten. Nochmals vielen Dank dass wir Eure Gäste sein durften

Kleines entspanntes Paradies

Wir waren mit 2 Paaren dort und haben die Zeit und die Gastfreundschaft sehr genossen. Das Haus, der Garten und der private Pool tragen sehr zu einer vollständigen Entspannung bei. Der fußläufig zu erreichende Dorfplatz in Pitsidia ist einfach nur schön und nicht überlaufen. Ein tolles Dorf im Süden Kretas. Wir kommen wieder.

Super séjour en famille dans la région de Matala

Villa, très bien équipée , idéalement située à 10 minutes de la magnifique plage de Kommos . Piscine très agréable au cœur d'un jardin d'agrumes et d'herbes aromatiques, un cadre idéal qui pousse au farniente sous les oliviers. Un grand merci à Maria & Xénophon pour leur gentillesse !

Schönen Urlaub in Pitsidia

Maria und Xenophon waren sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Wenn wir eine Frage hatten, haben sie sofort geantwortet. Auch im Vorhinein, wenn wir eine Frage hatten, war die Kommunikation super. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem Haus sehr genossen. Der Pool ist super und er wurde auch jeden 2. Tag gereinigt. Außerdem haben wir immer mal wieder leckeres Obst und Gemüse von Maria geschenkt bekommen. Die Bewohner/innen in Pitsidia sind auch alle total nett und freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Fabulous villa in beautiful countryside

We chose this villa because we were attracted to the lovely looking garden, and we weren't disappointed - the sweet smelling jasmine, fruit bushes, an array of lovey colours, and of course the gnarled old olive trees which remind us that our time here is short in comparison. The villa is spacious and comfortable, and provides all the amenities that we needed.. The welcome basket was a delightful addition - so lovely to eat produce grown by the hosts. We had the fresh fruit with local honey and yogurt, and made salads to take to the beach, with the tomatoes and cucumbers and the delicious olive oil. Good hot showers, luxurious towels, quiet location, all added to the enjoyment of the villa. The village is charming and full of character with an excellent selection of restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the vegan Green Kukunari.

Empfehlenswert

Maria und Xenophon haben uns trotz später Anreise freundlich mit einem Korb mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten empfangen. Haus, Pool und Garten sind gut gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Tavernen in Pitsidia sind mit einem kurzen Spaziergang bequem zu erreichen. Schöne Strände findet man nach wenigen Minuten Autofahrt. Wir haben ein schönen und erholsamen Urlaub in der Villa Elia verbracht.

Perfect hollydays

We stayed there 2 weeks in august. We realy had a good time in Pitsidia and in this beautiful house. The description is right. No surprise. Everything was ok. The wifi is very good (important for my children) and the pool is very pleasing. High level for me. The villa is easy to reach and the country is very interesting. A lot of thing to do (beach of course, monastaries, ancient sites...). When you arrive, Maria and Xenophon give you some vegetables and fruits + raki). A wonderfull experience there.
