We're here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self-check in upon arrival. We are happy to assist via phone or through the booking site before, during, or after your stay.

If you have any concerns, our customer support team is available 24/7/365. If there is any kind of mechanical issue with the home, please reach out to us first barring any kind of emergency. We will do our best to respond promptly and resolve any issues you may have.

Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.

For your convenience and security, the front door of the house is equipped with a smart lock to provide seamless access to the home.

During your stay, you will have full access to the house, except for one of the garages, which may occasionally be used by the cleaning staff or the owners. Rest assured that your privacy will not be disturbed in any way during your stay.

Please be advised that this home is located on a rural road on an elevated property. All guests must have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are required to access the home, especially in the winter and during rough weather conditions. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!

During Summer - It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC. The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.

During Winter - Winter snowfall can vary during the winter months. For guests staying from late October through late April, AN AWD OR 4WD VEHICLE IS REQUIRED. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. Our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.

During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck, and on walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.

Sip your morning coffee in the sunroom as alpine light filters through tall windows, or gather on the deck at dusk to watch the sky fill with stars. Surrounded by evergreens and perched on a private hilltop, this three-story log chalet gives you space to breathe, reconnect, and enjoy the sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains. With room for groups and thoughtful comforts inside and out, the cabin blends rustic charm with welcoming details.

Sleeping arrangements
The home sleeps up to 13 guests across four bedrooms. On the main floor, two king bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub-shower combo and stone vanity. Upstairs, the loft master suite features vaulted ceilings, a king bed plus an extra twin, a 60-inch smart TV, mountain views, and a private ensuite bath. On the lower level, a bunk room with twin-over-twin and twin-over-queen bunks sits beside a third bathroom with a bath-shower combo.

Living spaces
The sunroom offers a cozy corner for reading or enjoying coffee with the morning light. In the main living area, a plush sectional, 65-inch smart TV, freestanding wood-burning fireplace, and board games create a warm gathering space framed by floor-to-ceiling windows.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with essentials and appliances for easy group meals, including a 4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, hot water kettle, toaster, espresso machine, and coffee maker. Serve meals at the six-seat dining table or gather at the five-seat breakfast bar for casual dining.

Outdoor living
Step out onto the spacious log deck to take in mountain air, wildlife, and night skies. From May through October, a BBQ grill and picnic seating are available, along with outdoor furniture. In winter, patio furniture is stored away but the panoramic views remain year-round.

Amenities
The cabin is pet-friendly and offers Starlink WiFi with a dedicated workspace, washer and dryer, heating, ceiling fan, and indoor fireplace. Bedrooms include bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, room-darkening shades, and clothing storage. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and fresh towels. Safety features include exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Parking includes a one-car garage and additional covered space.

Neighborhood
Located just nine minutes from Fairplay and about forty minutes from Breckenridge, the property offers easy access to local restaurants, historic sites, and year-round outdoor activities. Hiking, fishing, skiing, cycling, and hot springs are all nearby. Explore Reinecker Ridge and Sheep Mountain, ski at Breckenridge, Keystone, or Copper, or visit Buena Vista for natural hot springs.
