Secluded, yet easy access and only minutes to charming mountain towns and Colorado vacation resorts such as Breckenridge. Wonderful every season - Winter Wonderland, Spring Awakening, Summer Wildflowers, Autumn Aspen Colors - the sunshine and night, super starry, skies in Colorado Mountains at this altitude is a must have experience all year round.     Completely furnished 2 bedrooms w. quality queen beds, plus a queen sofa sleeper and a single bed in open loft can sleep up to 7 adults. The loft overlooks living area w reclining chairs and wood stove and open to dining room. Kitchen has everything you need for gourmet cooking and large dinner parties. A perfect fall getaway! The aspens around the cabin were beautiful and you could walk the trails right off the property. It was secluded and quiet which we loved. The house itself was cozy, clean, and well stocked, and the hot tub was excellent. Can’t recommend enough!

What an incredible stay, the log cabin, the seclusion, the ‘home’ feel…. Then came that jacuzzi. Even with rain on and off, we still managed some time in the hottub under the stars & saw an incredible shooting star. We WILL return

Cabin and ski getaway

Short trip from Denver, gets you right into the mountains near skiing. Hot tub was a nice option after skiing, and unwinding with a fire and a book was perfect.

Nice Secluded Cabin

We enjoyed being able to walk off the property into National Forest and that it was secluded (good for the dog, who has a hard time around strangers). We saw a good amount of wildlife, large and small. Great place to stay if your goal is to get away from home and find some peace and quiet. Not particularly close to major tourist attractions, but convenient if you wanted to climb some of the 14ers between Breckenridge and Fairplay.

Excellent getaway

Perfect mountain home for a simple getaway. Added bonus that pets were allowed. Property is quiet and the hot tub was a great addition after days of hiking. Closing to town and well stocked. The home had a very welcoming feeling, would definitely rent again.

Fairplay cabin

This was a great property to stay at close to 14er trailhead. The host was great to communicate with on the check-in process and making sure everything was ready for our stay.

Very cozy! Have to park below the cabin in the cul de sac, so be prepared to haul luggage/gear up the hill (flight and a half of railroad tie stairs). Short drive to Fairplay or Alma for breakfast and coffee. Wish the lighting in the cabin was better, we tried to do a puzzle at night and had to move lamps around, which still wasn't enough - but plenty for general living. Cabin is also far enough away from any light pollution for good nighttime photography.
