RITOM APARTMENT is the perfect solution for a hiking and mountain-biking holiday, with family or friends. Situated in a typical Leventina Valley house in the picturesque village of Osco, this two-bedroom apartment tastefully furnished to retain the flavour of mountain houses welcomes you with a large living room, with a dining area, with a table for 4 persons, and a TV area with a sofa for relaxing while reading a book and watching a movie. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to cook just like at home, either to prepare packed lunches for trips to the mountains or for dinners with friends after a day of relaxation and walks in the nature.
There are two bedrooms, both doubles and with a wardrobe to store the whole family's wardrobe.
A bathroom with shower completes the apartment.

The delightful village of Osco is located along the famous Strada Alta of the Leventina Valley, and it is the arrival point of the first stage of the three-day route from Airolo to Biasca: you have found the right place to discover the wonders of the Leventina Valley!
Casa Bella Oschesina will surprise you with its attention to detail and its vintage atmosphere, thanks to its carefully chosen furnishings that recall the warmth of houses of the past. Wood is the protagonist in all the rooms, with the beautiful honey-coloured parquet floor and the walls painted in white and sage green.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 
We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The house does not have private parking, but it is possible to park in the free public parking spaces in Osco.

Osco is a picturesque village in the Leventina Valley where time seems to stand still among typical houses made of wood and stone, the wash house, the Municipal House.
Here it feels like being high in the mountains, albeit only 40 minutes from the nearest town, Bellinzona. 
Faido, the largest municipality in the Leventina, can be reached in 13 minutes by car: here you will find 3 supermarkets, a famous bakery that bakes typical products, 2 pharmacies, a butcher's shop and a dairy store selling local products.
Among the most visited natural landscapes in the area are the wonderful Piumogna waterfalls, which are very popular with tourists in summer.
For mountain lovers, there are many hiking trails on the peaks of Pizzo Pettine, Pizzo Molare, Pizzo Forno and Carì, famous for its popular ski area during winter, reachable in 15 minutes.
Chironico, an important destination for climbers from all over Europe, is 25 minutes away: this is where many sportsmen come to boulder in the Bouldering Area created thousands of years ago.

How to arrive:
By car, either from the south (Bellinzona) or the north (Erstfeld) from the A2 motorway take exit 43 - Faido towards Faido and set the GPS: in 13 minutes you will reach the apartment.
By train, from Lugano or Bellinzona take the S10 train towards Airolo for 7 stops and get off at the "Faido" stop. From here take bus No. 118 direction "Osco, Paese" for 6 stops and get off at "Osco, Paese."
