"Just stayed here for a family wedding in the area. The house was excellent, very clean and very well equipped. Would definitely recommend."

"The rooms are varied. The dog friendly rooms are not great, but at least you can bring your dog. The suite we had (when we didn’t bring the dog) was characterful and a good size but the bathrooms need an update. I’m not sure if this is the case across the hotel. The lady in reception is lovely, but if she isn’t there it can be hard to get help to check in. A lot of the staff are pretty grumpy and not very helpful. "

"I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. "Almost a new feel and look to the Hotel. The room was quite spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious, with premium shower gels, shampoo and soft towels. Would Recommend"

"I was disappointed to find out that the bar / restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesdays, this was not mentioned or highlighted on booking. As a business trip this was not what i was expecting. The room was extremely nice, but with a small kitchen area there was no microwave or cooker, only a toaster. This meant i could not buy food to cook and had to find a restaurant for my evening meal if i wanted a hot dinner. Everything about the room was amazing, very peaceful and a great night sleep. "El hotel es precioso, muy grande, se extiende no en altura sino en superficie. Tiene muchos espacios diferentes: restaurantes de diversa categoría, bar, espacios para fiestas incluida discoteca y un terreno enorme. La habitación amplia, con una decoración exquisita. Y las dos “recepcionistas” que nos atendieron tanto a la llegada como a la salida muy amables y agradables."

"Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience "

"Wonderful hotel, really comfortable room, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be coming back."
