*This unit is behind the main house yet we can't see you and you can't see us.
*No shared walls makes this a plus.
*It's quiet and has everything you need to come home and comfortably recharge.
*From the private patio and entrance to the California king size bed, this room will not disappoint.
*Stream for free on your 65" TV.
*UTILITIES INCLUDED
The space
*Upon entering your private gated entrance you will find your furnished patio and well-lit front door. Patio is landscaped with unique cacti, lava rock and Dracaena Marginata. You also have a fire pit all to yourself! Perfect for a romantic evening with a glass of wine or just a nice way to unwind after a day of sight seeing.
*Directly behind your door is a wardrobe with a garment rod and drawers for organizing all your clothing/shoes, etc. You will find a full length mirror as well.
*The first room inside the unit is your private bathroom with window, vaulted ceiling and tub/shower combo.
*Upon entering the unit to the right will be a large, open room with vaulted ceiling and multiple windows allowing in tons of light. Blinds included for privacy. Upper (at top of vaulted ceiling) windows do not have blinds. If you prefer sleeping in, you may want to consider bringing an eye mask.
*You will find a 65" mounted smart TV, buffet table with storage and coffee maker, freezer/fridge combo, and an induction cooktop and air fryer/oven combo.
*On the opposite side of the room is a California king size bed for a best nights sleep. Nightstand and lamp with usb port in front of your bedside window.
*The unit also features a dedicated AC/heat unit and a dining table for two.
*You will find simple warm decor in this unit including a large mirror and a wooden shelf with bag/hat hooks.
Guest access
*The entire room and full bathroom is yours alone.
*You also have a private patio to yourself with seating and a fire pit.
*The only shared space is the laundry room which is in the garage.
*You will not need to access main house to utilize.
*We provide one full water tank for coffee maker with filtered medical grade alkaline drinking water (per stay), ready upon check-in.
*We provide 1 gallon of filtered medical grade alkaline drinking water per stay.

Melissa has done a wonderful job preparing this property for use. My wife & I stayed here for 2 days while I was in Escondido for work. My wife spent most of the time in the room doing her own work remotely. It really was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable! Very quiet location. Street parking is easy to find. Great communication with host. Highly recommend!

While I didn't use everything available, there is a setup to make coffee and tea and plenty of glasses, and basic things to warm up food. The bed was comfortable, shower was great. I didn't need much space being for myself, 2 people would be perfectly fine. My only qualm was the barking dog. If it knows anyone is inside, it WILL bark. It wasn't a big issue, but it was annoying a few times.

Had a great stay at Melissa’s place. Neighborhood is nice and studio was private and quite just the right size for two people. Would recommend to anyone staying in Escondido. Looking forward to another stay in the future thanks again.

We enjoyed our stay here- we were happy to check in early so we could drop off our bags and food items. We were there just to shower and sleep and it was relaxing and comfortable for that (really appreciated having A/C since the weather was so nice). The room gets lots of early morning sun since the windows on the east side don't have window coverings. This wasn't a problem for us since qe had to get up early anyways.
