"My wife and I stayed here for 4 days in August 2026 and had a fantastic time. The camping pod was clean and comfortable and offered everything we needed for a good sleep. Washrooms and showers were easily available and clean with plenty of hot water. The troll garden was an unexpected highlight of our trip and offered a breathtaking view of the surrounding scenery - we walked on it multiple times throughout our stay, both in the morning and evening. "This was a great stay and a good base for the golden circle. We stayed in a 1-bedroom cottage. The rooms are definitely big enough for three, though I think with more it could definitely get squashy. The kitchen was fairly well-stocked, though in our case the stove light was not functioning. "Everything was excellent and we had a wonderful stay! The only thing I didn’t love was that our igloo didn’t have a private toilet or bathroom, and the shared facilities were about 100 metres away. I didn’t feel comfortable walking there alone in the middle of the night, so I waited until morning. If you’re particular about having easy access to a bathroom, I definitely recommend booking an igloo with a private toilet and bathroom. Otherwise, everything was great!"

"The cottage was very nice and had everything you need. But no dresser and no freezer. Mini fridge was perfect since we did not cook but made sandwiches. There is a hot water kettle, nescafe coffee maker, a toaster, coffee pods, teapots and pans, cups plates etc It was very comfortable. We did laundry in the washer drier combo. It has an electric car charger upfront if you are driving an EV vehicle. The horses came by to meet us."

"Unique, stand-alone apartments/suites on a scenic site. Close to a beautiful but challenging hiking trail. A little cafe is within a few minutes walking distance, as is a hotel with a restaurant and bar. There are no beverages or snacks. Check-in is flawless if you read your email from 2 days before. (We were traveling and didn’t check.) No air conditioning, but open windows cooled the room. In the end, it might have been nice to stay another night or two."
