Immaculate, homey and perfectly located for your stay in downtown Ennis.

  • The Caddis Shack is a cute little cottage that has been newly updated and is ready to be your home away from home. You are not staying in a "rental", you are staying in a home.

    Conveniently located 1/2 block off of Main St. Ennis, it is the perfect, centrally located home for your vacation stay. Quiet and well-appointed, it is sure to please after a long hard day on the river.

    Take a nice hot shower and enjoy the on-demand water heater while the coals burn to perfection in the Weber BBQ. Throw the wonderful steaks you bought at Deemo's, our local butcher shop, on the coals, and pour yourself a nice cold one from our local Burnt Tree Brewery, or perhaps a cocktail from spirits from our local Willie's Distillery. Enjoy the comfort of the private, shady back yard, as you and your companion swap stories of the "one(s) that got away"!

    The smart tv and wifi will help you stay connected, but the good library will offer you a quiet reprieve if you prefer to unplug and simply read and relax.

    When it is time to call it a night, crawl into a nice comfy bed, equipped with quality pillows and sheets that are sure to help you get a good night's rest. The sleeper sofas are equipped with inflatable mattresses which are quite comfortable and have quality bedding provided as well. If you would like me to make up the sleeper sofa(s) in advance, please let me know prior to your arrival, otherwise I will leave sheets for you to do so at your own convenience.

    The well-appointed kitchen is sure to please the cook in your group.

    In the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee or espresso in the comfort of your own kitchen as you whip up some homemade food in the new cookware. If you prefer to dine out, walk the short distance to downtown for breakfast, while you wait for your guide from a local fly shop. Several options abound in town for "fishermen's lunches" in case you are not on a guided trip with lunch provided.

    Convenient off-street parking allows you safe and easy access to your vehicle at all times and makes unloading and loading your gear a snap.

    I am confident that you will be very comfortable here and will find yourself booking The Caddis Shack for next year's adventure before you even depart. Enjoy your stay!

Thank you for this wonderful vacation place. What a great location! My daughter and grandchildren live basically across the street in the golf development and it was easy fir me to visit and going home to a comfortable place either a great garden!

This property is an excellent example of excellent planning. So much work and detail in every room. The outdoor area in the backyard was so pleasant in the morning. Great place to start your morning with coffee!When we come back to Montana, we will book Caddis Shack.

The Caddis Shack was ideal for my recent visit to Ennis. It is well appointed, comfortable, and had several thoughtful touches and features, including a Weber grill, a nice library, a well-stocked kitchen, and several other accessories. My host, Marina, even welcomed me with warm, homemade cookies upon check in! The house is in a very convenient location which is walkable to everything on Main Street. Marina maintained a very nice, private back yard, which made relaxing outside easy. I would definitely stay at the Caddis Shack again on any future visits To Ennis.

We have been to Ennis a number of times and this was one of the nicest homes we’ve have stayed in. We really enjoyed the cozy feel of the home and Marina was a wonderful host. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Cottage

My husband and I spent several days in this beautiful, cozy cottage. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It’s just a block from the Main St.in Ennis where there were lots to see and do. We loved the backyard and how peaceful it was to sit and watch & listen to the birds with our coffee. Loved it.

Wonderful Time

Ennis a great little town and this house is the perfect place to stay and enjoy all the area has to offer. The owner is easy to communicate with and keeps this place in great condition. We will be back and stay even longer next time

Wonderful location.

The house is a block from town. Walking distance from everything. Even though you are right downtown,it is a very quiet place.The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bed is very comfortable. I would love to stay there again.

Excellent, comfy, well-equipped, location, and host!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Home was perfect - comfortable, cozy (but larger than I would have thought), kitchen well-equipped, great location close to restaurants and stores. Host was responsive, attentive, and helpful before and throughout my stay. Can't say enough good things about this stay. Hope to return next year!

Great Location!

Nice house in a great location. Me and my dad stayed here for a father son fishing trip. Right in downtown Ennis, walking distance to bars, restraunts, and fly shops. The host Marina was very welcoming and made sure the house was clean and we had everything we needed. We definitely want to come back here soon!

Exactly as Described

Rolled into Ennis for a few days to fish and relax. Property was exactly as described by Marina in the listing. Excellent location to downtown area. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. House was beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great patio with grill and accessories for a barbecue or just relaxing. Will definitely come back.

Great Place in Ennis

This house is much bigger inside than the picture would lead you to believe. Plenty of room, very comfortable accommodations. A very short walk to town and a great place to stay and enjoy all this area of the country has to offer. The plate of cookies was icing on the cake!

Great getaway for a week in Ennis

Went to Ennis to fish and recover from a busy stretch at work. This place was perfect for our needs. Restaurants and shops literally a 2 to 3 minute walk away. Marina was very communicative and responsive anytime we had a question. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
