This house was fantastic! The location couldn’t be better—about halfway between downtown Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach, with the beach literally just steps away, and it’s a gorgeous stretch of sand. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need; the hosts have clearly thought of all the details. We especially enjoyed the great deck for afternoon cocktails and the well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals.The hosts were wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable about the community, and completely unobtrusive. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. No complaints at all. We would absolutely stay here again!

Quiet Vacation

Unit is a duplex with the owner occupying the unit next door. Met the owner, who was very nice. Access to the beach was very close. Three access points within 200 feet of the driveway. Unit is on a dead end so very little traffic in the front. The main road is to the rear. Not an excessive amount of noise. Large view of the sound to the rear. Smaller view of the ocean due to the sand dune. Beaches were not crowded. Enjoyed our stay and would be happy to plan another vacation here in the future.

Clean & Easy beach access

This property was super clean, comfortable and had great spacious living areas. We had two families staying and everyone was very comfortable. The deck on the ocean was great place to eat meals daily. Getting to the beach was super easy!! Would reccommend 10/10 :)

Beyond our expectations

We all thought this was the best property we've stayed at for any vacation. Fully equipped with everything needed, like we were at home. Nothing was needed and no negatives to speak of...which is unusual :-) Very clean, new and comfortable. Hats off to the owners for maintaining suxh a wonderful property.

Perfection!

Beautiful home, perfect location, easy beach access. On the rainy beach days, we were perfectly happy lounging in the house or on the front covered porch. Will be keeping this book marked for future vacations!

Slice of Paradise

Our extended family of four adults and three teenagers had a wonderful time staying here at Isle N Joy! The duplex is spacious, very clean, and recently updated. Plenty of space for your entire family to spread out and enjoy themselves. There are two separate living spaces, perfect for two families. Appliances are new. Very comfortable furniture. Two separate decks. One facing the bay and the other facing the ocean. We loved the deck facing the ocean and spent most of our time there for all of our meals. Perfectly located between Crystal Coast in Indian Beach. The outdoor shower was a treat. Lots of little extras. Highly recommend.

Awesome Beach House

My husband and I and two adult kids stayed at Isle of Joy and it was perfect. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The furniture in the house was very comfortable and the view to the sound was amazing. The access to the beach was directly across the street - which was perfect. We would and will definitely rent this property again.
