PROPERTY OVERVIEW:
Flying Cloud is a charming one-level beach cottage designed for comfort and privacy. Nestled in the Spinnaker’s Reach community, this home offers an inviting layout, spacious outdoor areas, and easy access to the beach and community pool.

Step onto the large covered front porch, where you'll immediately feel at home. Inside, the bright and open great room welcomes you with comfortable furnishings, a cozy living area, and plenty of seating in the dining space and at the kitchen bar. The well-equipped kitchen is part of the open layout, making it easy to prepare meals while staying connected with family and friends.

The split floor plan provides added privacy:

To the right of the great room, the primary suite features a king bed and spacious private bath. A small hallway leads to a laundry area, a second full bathroom, and a guest room with a queen bed.
To the left of the great room, a third guest room offers two twin beds, making it perfect for kids or additional guests.
Outdoor living is a highlight at Flying Cloud. The spacious screened porch off the living area provides both dining and seating areas, while the large sun deck off the dining room overlooks a peaceful natural area, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.

As part of Spinnaker’s Fresh Bed Promise, all bed linens are laundered between guests to ensure a fresh, hotel-quality experience.

Beach & Pool Access:
The community pool and bathhouse are directly across the street from the beach access, located at the corner of Shipwreck Lane and Louise Howard Court. Guests can take a 7-10 minute stroll or a quick golf cart ride to the beach, with golf cart parking available near the entrance.

    Great location but read review.

    The home is in a great location and has a great level of seclusion. It’s also a quick trip to the beach or pool via golf cart. The layout is perfect for a small family of 3-5.We stay yearly at beach houses in Emerald Isle and Outer Banks and comparatively speaking this house lacks upkeep and needs more basic amenities. Not to go into details upon arrival we had no hot water and little water pressure. After 2 calls and 2 text messages the following day both of these were repaired by 3pm but loss of beach time. The pressure issue was due to the water softener not being maintained so the management bypassed it to get the pressure back and had to replace the hot water tank. We had an issue with the A/C on Wednesday but was quickly resolved. The back porch and in general needs a fresh coat of paint. The glass patio door has a bar to lock because the lock is broke. Numerous lights are burnt out throughout the house. On the amenities side there are very few glasses, cups and plates. You have to wash after every meal or you don’t have enough for the next meal. The house would be very cute if it was given attention to reach its full potential. The community is wonderful and is the management company. We have stayed at other houses in this community and have nothing but praise.

    Great House and Area

    Really nice, and clean, house! There is plenty of outdoor space, making the house seem even bigger. The screened in porch is a huge plus. Nice neighborhood and close to the ocean and community pool. Highly recommend! Owners were easy to work with and were great woth communication.

    Vacation 2021

    Our family of 4 stayed at the Flying Cloud in Emerald Isle. Wonderful location! House was simple and perfect with a covered front porch and a screened in side porch. There is a lot of wildlife, including turtles, frogs, ducks and rabbits! The golf cart was a much appreciated added bonus! Short ride to a deckboard walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

    Absolutely adorable rental!

    I don't think the pictures on line do this house justice, it is absolutely adorable. It has a front porch which looks out over the road, a back porch which looks out over a little pond and it also has a screened in porch, which is great for morning coffee or game night. It does include towels and sheets, which is nice not to have to worry about packing those things. The golf cart was perfect for driving to the beach access or pool, but it wasn't too far to walk if you so choose. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, the living room is very spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a small stand up shower. It was very clean and bright. My only issue is that there were no hangers in any of the closets, so we left our things in our suitcases, which is only a minor inconvenience. The house is very private with trees all around, you could see the neighbors pool, but other than that, lots of privacy. It is located just a couple miles from many of the fun things to do in Emerald Isle. It is a little pricey, but I would recommend this rental for your family of up to 6 people.
