Welcome to The Luna, a modern studio designed for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Surrounded by nature and filled with natural light, this thoughtfully designed space is perfect for a romantic escape or a quiet getaway. Though compact, the studio feels open, airy, and inviting—making it easy to relax and feel at home. The vintage decor, curated by the owners from local small businesses in the area, adds a charming contrast to the Luna’s modern aesthetic.

The open living space is bright and welcoming with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. A smart TV is available for cozy evenings in, and the comfortable layout makes it easy to enjoy a slow morning indoors or to unwind after a day of exploring.
➤ Kitchen Area
The kitchen is set up to make your stay easy and convenient, featuring birch cabinetry, soft-close drawers, quartz countertops, open shelving with soft LED lighting, and a Keurig/drip combo coffee machine to start your mornings off right. It’s perfect for preparing breakfast, light meals, or a relaxed dinner during your stay. Everything you need for cooking on the induction stove top is provided, along with a microwave and a small multi-function oven.
NOTE: There is no dishwasher.

Step outside and enjoy direct access to the Haw River (about 150 steps from the unit), along with peaceful river views with a Solo Stove fire pit, nearby trails, a cozy outdoor fire pit, a hammock for ultimate relaxation, and a disc golf basket for some fun outdoor activity. Whether you’re unwinding by the river, lounging in the hammock, relaxing by the fire, playing a round of disc golf, or taking in the scenery from the comfortable outdoor furniture, the space adds a calm and refreshing touch to your stay.

Guests will have private access to the fire pit right outside the unit and to the solo stove by the river.
NOTE: The open field with the fire pit and the kayaks with the river access from the nearby cabin are NOT for the Luna Studio guests to use.
There is 1 parking spot in front of the unit.

Most cars can easily access the home and nearby areas. There is no public transportation, so bringing your own vehicle or renting one is preferred. While Uber and Lyft are available, getting a ride may not always be easy.
➤ The Luna Studio is one of two units on the property, situated on 9 acres of land with ample space and privacy between units.
➤This listing is for the Luna Studio only. Please note that the nearby Cabin on the Haw may be rented separately, and other guests may be present. The Studio and the Cabin can also be rented together, providing sleeping space for up to 8 people and private access to the entire property.
➤ Please only flush the provided septic-safe toilet paper (no sanitary products, wipes, etc.) as other products will clog and ruin the septic system.
➤ There are no dishwasher and laundry units in the studio.
➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted.
➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account).
➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage).
➤ Quiet hours begin at 10:00 pm. Please keep noise to a minimum.

1. If you are local please notify us before making your reservation.
2. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
3. No parties or events allowed.
4. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.
5. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage, or use of the fireplace. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
6. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.
7. Late check-out fee of $200 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.
8. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in).
9. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 15 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property.
