A great place to stay

A beautiful house inside and out. Large primary room and bathroom. Large, well stocked kitchen. Three additional bedrooms, bathroom and washer/dryer. Great outdoor spaces too.

Excellent overnight stay

Beautiful overnight stay. We had 5 adults Very comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Nice kitchen set up. Restaurants about 10 min away. Would stay again . Loud train at night

Perfect!!

This is a lovely home in a nice area. It’s on a dead end street, so not a lot of traffic. The house was as pictured, clean, had everything we needed for our stay and overall, very comfortable! Some people mentioned the train… We heard it once in the evening, but we didn’t find it to be that loud or a bother. If there were any trains coming through at night, they didn’t wake us! We would stay here again!

Enjoyed the Property

The property was spotless, and decorated nicely. It had all that you need as far as kitchen supplies, toiletries etc. The check in was easy. The host was prompt to respond. The area was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The area is a short drive to Rocky Mount and other surrounding towns which was convenient for us for visiting friends in different areas. It was easy to find. A reasonable price to pay to avoid the noisy hotel room atmosphere. Will stay again! (The train isn't that loud and for me it adds something, I love trains)

You can tell a lot of hard work went into the renovations for this property. A lot of new appliances and furniture. There were a bunch of hairs in the bedding and some dead bugs throughout the house. I did bring this up to the renter and she said she will be getting a new cleaning company. Only thing preventing 5 stars.

Unclean

When we walked in the front door, we immediately noticed food crumbs on the sofa. Not small crumbs but large pieces. Then we found leftovers from takeout in the refrigerator. The back door was a sliding glass door and had a simple up a d down latch lock-no bar or rod to put in the track. I felt unsafe being out in the country on a dead end road. We did not stay but left and got a hotel room.
