Come stay at the elegantly rustic 3 bedroom 2 bath modern farmhouse cottage in the pumpjack capital of Texas!

Conveniently located just a couple of blocks South of 287 in North Electra! Electra, TX is a historic quaint small oilfield town with tons of character and small Texas town charm! Everywhere in town you would need or want to explore is only about 1 mile away. If you're wanting a little more variety, Wichita Falls is just a short drive away!

Well trained house broken pets are welcome!
The space
Conveniently located in the pumpjack capital of Texas, A.L. Cottages' Park Ave Cottage is a beautifully decorated and newly remodeled 3 bedroom/2 bath home featuring elegantly rustic farmhouse decor and amenities. Wonderfully located just a couple of blocks South of 287. We're just about a mile from everywhere in town! If you’re missing a little bit of city life, Wichita Falls or Vernon is just a short drive away!

Bedrooms:
You'll sleep soundly in the three high quality queen beds with warm, breathable, and comfortable bedding. Each room is equipped with blackout curtains to keep rooms nice and dark! You can stay entertained because each bedroom is equipped with 32" Roku Smart TV with Guest Mode.

Kitchen:
The wonderful open floor plan kitchen overlooks the living room is perfect for conversing or watching your favorite program on the living room's 65" Roku Smart TV equipped with Guest Mode. Beautiful appliances give the kitchen a beautiful clean look. A six place setting rustic kitchen table is great for providing extra counter space and a space for a family meal. Enjoy a fully stocked coffee bar with a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolates at any time. You don't need to bring anything from home, the kitchen is supplied with cookware, dishware, and silverware!

Bathrooms:
Enjoy the large walk-in shower in the master bathroom or a tub/shower combo in the guest bathroom. Both showers have built-in shower dispensers! Get ready for bed or the day ahead with a superbly lit and stocked sink area with a vessel sink! Get dry and clean with high-quality towels, washcloths, hand towels, and special black makeup washcloths! The master bathroom has a dressing area featuring a beautiful makeup vanity, full length mirror, and place to hang clothes!

Laundry:
Staying multiple days? We have a high capacity washer and dryer with a built-in folding area and hanging rod for delicates!

Living Room:
The living room has an open floor plan connecting with the kitchen! Perfect for conversations or watching the food cook while watching your favorite programs on the 65" Roku Smart TV with Guest Mode! Rest easy on two comfortable grey lounge chairs and a rustic full size couch that are wonderfully accommodating and comfortable!

Front Porch:
The front porch is equipped with two relaxing adirondack chairs to watch the sunrise or enjoy the evening!

Carport:
Stay safe from weather in the two car carport! Located just off the back of the cottage.

Fenced yard:
Waist high chain link fence is perfect for letting the kiddos or pups out to play!

Awesome place

We loved this adorable farmhouse cottage. Great style of decor, everything you would need, great lighting, very clean, fully fenced yard for the dogs and very helpful host. I would stay there again, even would enjoy an extended time there.

NYE in Electra

Excellent stay, in a quaint “farm house”. Property was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and communication was prompt and professional. Much better than staying in similar priced hotels in town.

We stopped here on our way driving from Boulder to Houston. The host was very receptive and helpful. The cottage was clean. The decor was exactly as described and all redone. We didn't spend much time in the area so I am not sure how much there is to do in the area but our stay was great.

Great place to stay

We were in the area for a sporting event. By the time we booked, there was little to chose from. I’m so glad! I may have missed this hidden gem if there had been something closer to the event. The house was clean, quiet, well stocked, and very comfortable! Anthony was a gracious host and, thankfully, had already turned the air conditioning down so the house was cool and comfortable by the time we got there at night. Since the temps were over 105 that day, we were especially grateful! We would stay here again if we were ever in the area!

Due to travel delays we arrived later than anticipated so we didn't get to stay long but the house was perfect. It was so beautifully decorated and relaxed that it felt like home. I hope we get to stay longer next time.

Great place to stay for travel pit stop!

Family took a vacation to Angel Fire but needed to break up the trip. This house in Electra was the perfect distance for us to stay the night. Anthony was super communicative and easy to work with. We got in late and the place was very clean and comfortable. We would stay hear again in the future without reserve. Thank you Anthony!

Great house and location

Driving from south texas to Colorado, this spot was perfect for a quick overnight stay that was peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to get off the road for a bit!! We will for sure be staying again the next time we make this drive! The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and a great location not far from the highway, but far enough that we didn’t hear the road noise

Cute, But Not The Place to Cook A Meal

Anthony, the property manager, was very responsive during the booking process and during our stay. The day before I did have to ask for the check-in procedures as we were traveling long distances separately and I did not feel comfortable waiting until the day of our stay to receive those instructions as Anthony said he usually does. When I arrived the thermostat was set to 77º and the place was VERY hot, but that was easily fixed. The fenced back yard looked like the perfect place for our pups to play, but on closer inspection there were large pieces of broken glass and A LOT of old poop out there. After cleaning it up and making it safe, we did enjoy having the fenced yard. We brought food to cook as the listing said the place had a fully-stocked kitchen. But, actually, the oven did not work and basic items like a cutting board and mixing bowl were nowhere to be found. Anthony did offer to come over and fix the oven, but we had planned a weekend alone together, so we declined. Other than a full trashcan in the kitchen (and the situation in the yard), the place was cute and clean when we arrived and we enjoyed our stay. But there is definitely room for improvement
