"I would definitely go again. Friendly staff and I loved that the pool was accessible at all hours.Even though you're close to town, you feel disconnected from all hustle and bustle"

"The view from the dining and viewing pergola is one of the best in San Ignacio."

"It's peaceful, the room was clean and bed was very comfortable."

"When I arrived there was nobody there to let me in. I tried the whatsapp number and got a recording saying it was not a valid number. I was able to send a message through Expedia messaging and got a reply fairly quick. A gentleman working on the roof finally let me in and gave me a key to the room. The beds were basically a brick with springs poking me when I laid down. The walls are very thin and the road noise went on all night. Parking is along the road and very tight and limited. "Hidden gem near Guatemala border beautiful comfortable rooms great chef onsite"

"Convenient to downtown, very nice staff."

"Clean room."

"Good basic accommodation. Lots of space in room considering two double beds. You do have to come upstairs, no elevator. On good street for walking, close to local market. Parking available."

"The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a fantastic stay!"

"Amazing property. It was so beautiful with the courtyard with flowers and the private pool/bath and geat views. They upgraded us with no extra charge. Wish we could have stayed here longer. The price was great for a three story home away from home."

"We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance."

"The resort has the potential to be a 5 star resort. It is lacking the polish. Overall it is a beautiful resort, loved the organic garden, and the pool is very nice. Maintainance equipment was left out through out the despite work being done for the day. The main chef was amazing but his back up needs a lot more training and experience. Noticable difference in preparation of meals. Water pressure consistently low and hard to get hot water."

"Organize better for guests check in. Include a phone number for optional assistance"

"Mike was so nice and helpful, as was his wife. The place has a real charm, but just know that it’s rustic and authentic. Meaning no A/C, bugs in the rooms, beds, bathroom, etc. The property is starting to degrade but still has a special feel and vibe. If you’re looking for a real experience this is it. If you prefer something more modern and comfortable look elsewhere."

"I would describe this as more of a glamping experience. The room is a large, open space with multiple beds and a kitchen, plus a separate bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no closet, shelving, or luggage rack, so you have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. The screened-in porch with hammocks was wonderful. However, the staff was not very helpful when we asked about walking trails or how to get to Monkey Falls. We were given vague directions and did not feel particularly welcome. The...
