Almerimar is one of Spain's best kept secrets, outstandingly beautiful and has a sub-tropical climate.

The apartment is located in the Portofino complex, the most wanted complex of Almerimar with an outdoor pool on the first floor. The resort is peaceful, relaxing and immaculately kept.


The Resort is built around the harbour that hosts many Sea-food restaurants, Chinese, Italian an good Spanish cuisine. Cafe Bars, Tapas Bars all situated in lovely surroundings overlooking the harbour.

👉 the apartment is situated JUST IN THE CENTRE of Almerimar facing the Sea & Marina, near the golfcourse (100m), the supermarket at 20m, restaurants & tapa bars at 50m.

Golf is a great attraction in the area and the PORTO FINO Residence is situated a stone throw away from the 27 holes top class Golf Course designed by Gary Player. On a surface of approx 802,000 square metres, featuring several water holes and beautiful landscape and lakes that will challenge any experienced golfer.

The apartment has been stylishly designed and furnished to a very high standard with no expense spared. The property is fully air-conditioned, modern and has everything needed for a perfect self-catering holiday.

The large secure swimming pool with lifeguard (summer) for the use of residents is on the 1st floor and open from april to october.


The apartment is fully equipped with the highest quality furniture.

The master bedroom has a large bed 160 x 190 with different pillows, it contains also a dressing with mirrors and a lot of storage place for clothing, shoes and luggage.

The 2nd bedroom contains 2 beds of 90 x 190, 2 wardrobes with drawers and a desk.

A baby bed is available upon request (25€/stay)

The kitchen is fully equipped with dish-washer, oven, micro-wave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, electric juicer, hand blender, electric food scale.

The living room contains a very comfortable L-sofa a 40 inch TV, DVD player and an extensible dining table.

The bathroom has a bath with integrated shower, towels are included.

On the terrace there are lounge beds and a dining table for 4 and a washing/drying machine.

Also available: beach towels, ironing board, iron, clothes horse & pins, trolley for grocery shopping.

A secured parking place under the building and directly accessible via the elevators is included in the rental price.

Upon request cleaning and ironing services are provided during your stay.

The apartment offers air conditioning and a cool ceiling fan. Marble flooring throughout. There is heating, carpets for added warmth in the evenings throughout the winter months.


Smoking is not allowed indoor but tolerated on the terrace.

The nearest airport is Almeria, 25 miles away, It's a 40 minute drive. There are many car hire companies based in Almeria airport that offer cheap car-hire.

Good location, luxury absent

We stayed in the apartment for a week in November. We arrived on a Saturday. CheckIn was easily beside that the local contact person doesn't speak English. The apartment is located in the centre of Almerimar, close to the harbour. While the apartment was clean and decently furnished, we were asking ourselves on which standard this can be considered luxurious as this was mentioned in the description. Some of the interiour and equipment has worn. On Sunday morning we figured out, that our food and drinks in the fridge were warm. Neither the fridge nor the freezer was working. It took until Tuesday afternoon (3 nights) until it was working again. We asked the host for compensation. After we asked for a second time, she replied that she will make an offer after we left! After our stay, she offered a refund of 50 Euros or 10% discount on the next booking, which we haven't take advantage off. I would expect that a experienced host will check an apartment before handing it over, if it hasn't rented in a while. Here ist a list of things that we noticed: - the bathroom has no ventilation or the fan is broken - the toilet was loose and tended to fall over - on most of the slide doors to the balcony the rolls are coroded what makes them hard to open, which already led to damages that has been fixed with duct tape - the boiler for the bathroom is located in the wardrobe in the main sleeping room, and the sound when it refills is very noticeable

‘s nachts slapen met oordoppen als ramen zijn geopend.

Het is een prachtig appartement met alles erop en eraan en een grote balkon, tegenover supermarkt Mercadona, dus ‘s morgens even verse broodjes halen. Auto staat in een ondergrondse garage. Alleen konden wij zonder oordoppen niet slapen wegens straatgeluiden.

Perfect apartment in a great location

A beautiful, modern, clean apartment with excellent facilities, loads of little extras that make it special. Great location, near to the pool, but away from the noise and bustle so that you dont get disturbed. Cracking view of the edge of the marina and sea. The owner is fantastic and really helpful also. Would highly recommend to anyone.

A great repeat stay

This was the second time that I have stayed in this apartment and again it was a great stay with no issues. Kirsty was very helpful and kept me updated with how to check into the appartment. The appartment met all my needs, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would 100% recommend the accommodation to anyone.

Prima apprtement ook voor een langer verblijf

Appartement is mooi en compleet ingericht Alles wat we zouden kunnen verzinnen is aanwezig. Ligging in centrum Almerimar is ook prima. We werden uitstekend ontvangen met een uitgebreide uitleg over het appartement We waren er in februari en dan is het goed toeven op het balkon mits er niet teveel koude wind staat vanuit het oosten of zuiden. In dat geval is er geen mogelijkheid om uit de wind te gaan zitten. Dit is het enig minpuntje wat we kunnen noemen. Appartement komt op ons lijstje voor een eventueel tweede bezoek aan Almerimar.

Great apartment in a great location

We stayed at the apartment for just over 3 weeks whilst our boat was out of the water. We found the apartment to be exactly as it was advertised. It was very clean, spacious and had everything in it to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It would definitely be a place that we would recommend to people.

Prachtig, goed verzorgd appartement in erg leuke plaats

Mooi, groot, modern, super goed uitgerust appartement ! Alles is verzorgd en erg netjes, mooi uitzicht Prima locatie ten opzichte van strand, winkels, restaurantjes Afstand tot vliegveld Almeria is maar 36 km. Leuke haven, winkeltjes, heerlijk om te wandelen, prima restaurantjes Enige minpunt / tip : maar 2 theedoeken en geen keukenhanddoeken Erg genoten van de plaats, omgeving en het mooie appartement. Aanrader !!

A Great Place To Stay

We stayed at this apartment for a month December/January during our 3 month visit to Spain and it was undoubtedly the nicest apartment we stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and it had a lovely view over the roof tops to the ocean. We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets while we were there. Because of the glass sliding doors that covered most of the front part of the apartment, there was a lot of light which gave an airy feeling and the sun provided a lot of warmth during the cooler winter days as it is lower in the sky. The area itself is fairly quiet, much quieter and less built up than the Marbella side, though there are a number of restaurants including the Stumble Inn which is like a British pub. The area is fairly convenient for doing side trips - we visited Ronda, Seville, Córdoba, Granada and Marbella on overnight excursions while we were there. There is a golf course very close by as well as a supermarket. Be sure to check when the Spanish holidays are though as the supermarket is closed then as well as on Sundays. The owner was very responsive to any questions or requests and we highly recommend the apartment.

Fantastic smart well equiped apartment

We have just returned from 2 weeks in the apartment which was brilliant. Overall we had fantastic weather. The first few days were blowing a gale which made sense of things being chained down on the balcony! Once this blew away we had brilliant weather which enabled us to relax on the beach and by the pool. The apartment provided both beach and pool chairs which were welcomed as well as a cool box and block enabling us to have a cold drink when soaking up the sun. There was nothing to fault in the apartment, a large supermarket was just over the road which was very convenient. The majority of landscape was taken up with greenhouses which gave off some pungent smells first thing in the morning. We did not find the landscape particularly inspiring with greenhouse after greenhouse. We found Almerimar a bit isolated, El Ejedo was approx. 25 mins by car but we were not overly impressed by it. We had hoped to find a restaurant that we could have gone to but nothing took our fancy. There were however several restaurants in Almerimar that offered some lovely meals from pizza, fish, meat and tapas. We assumed it was the time of year we were visiting but some bars and restaurants were a bit adhoc with their opening hours. The sea breeze beach bar is recommended as a brilliant way to watch the sun go down whilst chilling with a cold glass of wine and/or beer. It was a shame that the beaches were closing down, boarded pathways, aseos and changing huts being taken away - however the beaches were not overly busy and enabled us to enjoy relaxing whilst reading in a quiet relaxed environment. Overall fantastic apartment that would be hard to beat - thank you.

STUPENDO APPARTAMENTO SUPER CONFORTEVOLE CON VISTA STUPENDA

Abbiamo soggiornato in 4, 2 Adulti e 2 Bambini in questo nuovissimo appartamento, dove non mancava proprio nulla. Molto curato e ben pulito con accessori di qualità. Comodo per raggiungere il centro e la spiaggia. Lo consiglierei ad amici e di sicuro dovessi ritornare ad Almerimar tornerei in questo appartamento.
