Have a ball during your getaway at Summerwind Villa – 406! All the makings for a fabulous Edisto Beach vacation are right here! This charming home is situated directly across the street from one of Wyndham Ocean Ridge’s pools and the playground. The screened porch offers a front-row seat for taking in the abundant wildlife like herons, egrets, turtles, and more. The kitchen, dining, and living room combination will have your group sharing laughter and fun throughout your visit to Edisto. Internet access and cable televisions will keep each guest entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:00 AM.
All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor Policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
This vacation rental is located inside of the Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. Boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RV's, and golf carts are not allowed inside of the resort.
The fireplace is not available for guest use.
Wyndham amenities are available for purchase for an additional fee from the Wyndham Cafe but there is NO GUARANTEE due to limited passes per day. Wyndham Amenities are shared pools, tennis, gym fitness room, mini golf, playground, and Beach Cabana.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

  • A very early morning outing at Botany Bay on Edisto Island. I had to start from my hotel at 3 AM to make it to this location before dawn. Botany Bay Plantation is a nature preserve and has regulated visitor hours. Gates open 30 minutes before sunrise - I wish they'd open a little sooner as the golden hour is pretty much more than half way done by the time one can make it to the beach. Nevertheless, it's a great location to visit at sunrise, especially if there are high clouds to add drama. Recommended to visit when the tide is ebbing as you then get the shadows of the trees, which to my eyes add more depth to the image. On this day, there was a bank of low clouds that prevented too much color but it was a great sunrise to witness nonetheless. The trees have so much character and add so much to the image. It's hard to look at the remnants of these trees and not imagine the onslaught they've withstood at the hands of mother nature. #WeekendGetAwayForTheFamily #colorful #USA #weekend #treetrove #blue

Wonderful location and nice size unit. I wish the weather had been nicer so we could have enjoyed the beautiful screened porch. We left early because we could not sleep well in the bed, but I am sure other people would sleep great there.

The location was very nice. It was peaceful overlooking the water and the view from the screened in porch was so serene. We saw fish jumping, a blue heron, golden sunrise, and reflections of the trees in the water.

Our stay was excellent. One complaint the description does not make clear there was no bathroom upstairs. This does pose a problem for older guests who make multiple visits to the bathroom during the night. For our stay not knowing the bathroom issue caused one of the guests to sleep on the couch. Had there been a bathroom upstairs everyone would have had a bed or we would have booked a different property.

Great Location, Great Stay!

We chose this rental for the location, updated decor, and screen porch and we were not disappointed. Location feels private even though it is in development because of trees and pond that border it. Loved the screen porch and its new furniture (different than shown in listing), very comfortable!! I was a little concerned about it being a dog friendly rental, as my daughter has allergies, but it was perfectly cleaned! Bathroom showers have also been updated from listing photos, also very nice. We would definitely return!

Always Wonderful at Edisto

The unit was very comfortable and convenient. Close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen gear was a little thin but not problematic since we brought some things from home. The screened in porch was a definite plus. Enjoyed our stay!

SHORT BUT SWEET

Wish we had a few more days here. Super cute, totally efficient, plenty of space with all we needed, including chairs to take with from reading our books mid afternoon and sunset on the beach. Lovely spot on the golf course, and very quiet, and there was plenty to do close by for walking or dining. The only request I will throw in is to fix the screen door from squeaking every opening and slamming.. We didn't have anyone staying next to us but I would have felt bad if we did, as we seemed to go outside a lot including letting our dog out. The place was perfect for her....she loved sleeping on her bed in the screened in porch right off our bedroom. Edisto is a gem!!! We will be back!

Great place

I was down there for the 70.3 triathlon and found this place on the site. Very nice place. I nice location. Communicated with the Property management company a couple of times and they were always quick at getting back with me. And The listing does state two parking spots. While true, you can also park under the building. We had three cars and they fit without a problem.

Wonderful short getaway

This property was in the perfect location for a nice weekend getaway. We enjoyed biking around the island and even just around the Wyndham complex. Saw lots of deer nightly who are apparently regular visitors! Would absolutely stay here again in the future. The only downside was having to leave to go home : (
