This Edgartown property is a beautiful blend of island living and wooded privacy! This family-friendly getaway hosts one of the biggest, well-manicured lawns that can be found on this sandy island of Martha's Vineyard. This two-level getaway features one inviting living room area equipped with comfortable furnishings, making it the perfect place to unwind and maybe enjoy a movie or your favorite TV show on the flatscreen TV. You can find another living room area on the first floor as well, but this one is equipped with a wood-burning stove! Outside, the patio is another great place to unwind and share with the group. It features an outdoor dining area and a barbecue area!

This gorgeous getaway is just one mile and a half from downtown Edgartown where you can find several dining options, Edgartown's Historic District, the Edgartown Art Gallery (along with many more art galleries, and museums! South Beach is one and a half miles south and it's a great place for surfers and beachcombers alike. Up north, you can find another popular beach - Lighthouse Beach. You can't be staying in (or nearby) Edgartown and not visit Jaws Bridge! This iconic site is the filming location of a shark attack in Steven Spielberg's 'Jaws', and it's only four miles up north.

The hot water didn’t work throughout the majority of our time there. The local team and owners were informed, they send someone out who did what he could to address the issue but noted he had been called to the house several times before to fix the hot water so it was clearly an ongoing issue that hasn’t been addressed. Property management company is giving the run around on providing compensation for not having hot water during our stay. We had to arrange to shower elsewhere which was very frustrating.

Great option

This house is exactly what we were looking for. Our team was in town for work and needed a home base for the week. This was a great central location to everywhere we needed to be. Well appointed, lots of space, and great prompt communication with the owners for check in and during our stay.

Location and Fun

Great house, especially for biking and walking to Edgartown and Katama. Lovely back yard vegetable and flower garden to pick! Outdoor shower is a dream. Private yard, deck table and umbrella for fun meals. Plenty of room! Bring your own condiments and all supplies as there is minimal provided. House is uncluttered and comfortable and clean. Enjoy!

Nice location but lacking charm

The house was in a terrific location - near the beach and bike paths. The outdoor patio was pleasant and we enjoyed it for meals and relaxing. The house itself was quite dark. The kitchen was spare with cheap and minimal supplies. The bedrooms were perfectly functional - nothing special. Little details were missing like quality toilet paper and paper towels, the cabinets were empty (no spices or condiments) etc. Communication was difficult as it was through an agency called Vacasa. I was only able to communicate via an app and responses were delayed and minimal. There was no info about the house, how to work AC, garbage pick up, etc. Finally, the house was covered in cat hair. Clearly a cat lives there (cat litter and cat bed left in the garage). If you allergic to cats, this is not the house for you.
