The Nook - lodge cabin with hot tub at Shawnee Mtn

Unique, tranquil cabin tucked in the forest but still conveniently located minutes away from shopping needs and the fun activities all year round (Shawnee Mtn , Bushkill Falls, Camelback Mtn, hiking biking, kayaking, water rafting and many other seasonal activities) . The cabin is a great spot where at sunset time you can enjoy a drink at outdoor fire-pit or indoor fireplace, listen to nature , meditate or engage in conversations if you have company.

Cabin is non-smoking indoor, outside smoking permitted, cigarettes disposal bin on deck. Vaping, recreational drugs, incense or candle burning not allowed.

All guests are encouraged to pack small since they have access to all items in the cabin.

All guests are required to treat space with consideration for host and future guests - cleaning service is on schedule , please check-out on time ; late check-out fee up to 1 hour is $50, unless approved for no charge

If unforeseen weather emergency during your stay , extended checkout is not guaranteed.

Driving is the best way to get around ; as an alternative there is Uber , Lyft service and Martz bus from and to NYC and Philadelphia.

The cottage was nice. Just a suggestion.Some instruction to how to run the hot tub should be left to the tenants. Hot tub second pump was not running causing half of the jets to not working at all. A little disappointed based on the fact that we choose this location because the hot tub.

We arrived after dark and were able to easily find the cabin, and gain access with no issues at all. The cabin was spotless, cozy, comfortable and WARM!!! It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner in the kitchen, the beds were cozy, the shower had great water pressure, and the water was hot!! We really enjoyed the hot tub at night and enjoyed feeling like we were far from everything but still being able to access restaurants, bars, downtown, and anything we needed quickly. We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday and would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone, and would stay again!

Totally in love with the house and all amenities provided by the host. Ana was very helpful when I messaged her about the property. Very comfortable beds and cozy inside and outside. Definitely a prefect spot for weekend getaway by packing light. I will come back for sure.

We had an Absolutely perfect weekend stay. From an easy contactless checkin to a very clean home even the hot tub/spa and grill. The air was on when we arrived and the tub was warm the 1 neighbor across the road was so pleasant even the deer loved him. Would highly recommend for a couples getaway

Had everything we needed!

Absolutely loved having the view of fire near the hot tub, so that the family can choose what they wanted to do and still stay in talking proximity of one another! The location was beautiful, and the host was super patient and helpful. There was lots to do nearby, and we really enjoyed our time here. The fire inside the living room was a nice cozy touch and the beds were comfortable. My mother especially enjoyed the decor and the host's decorative touch. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a weekend skiing and the house was perfect for our group and evenings. Ana was extremely communicative and helpful as well for any questions we had before and during our stay!

VERY Relaxing, Clean, Beautiful

My girlfriend and I stayed in the cabin for three nights. We had fun in the area by hiking and going to cool restaurants, but the most fun we had was literally relaxing in the cabin. As soon as we walked in, we noticed how clean the place was and how cozy it was. Reasonably bigger than I expected, especially for the price. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable, all we needed to do was bring the food! The bedroom had VERY soft blankets and was very warm, made for a great night sleep. My favorite area was the living room area since I could rest on the extremely comfortable couch in front of the fireplace, all while being right next to the kitchen in case I wanted anything. So convenient, so clean, so relaxing. I was originally concerned the fireplace and heating system wouldn't be enough to keep the place warm, but I was wrong! In ten minutes I was already changing into comfy shorts and a T-shirt, it got warm quick! The cabin was a ton of fun for a fantastic price, I seriously recommend staying here. Not too hard a drive, but drive slowly and be mindful of your surroundings. Oh, I have to say, the host of the property was AMAZING. Ana responded to every message I sent, even in the weeks leading up to the stay. She was very helpful, elaborated on anything I was wondering about, and just really made planning the trip a breeze. She's great!!! Fantastic place with a fantastic host, literally no complaints from me. The best!

Cozy, peaceful cabin!

Overall it was a really great place to getaway for a weekend 😊 clean, has everything you need for daily use. The electric fireplace is great when watching movies at night, gives it a cozy vibe. Definitely would recommend, we did not come across any issues!
