Charming Lakefront Home with Sunset Views

Newly renovated home on beautiful Lake Pocotopaug. This private 650-acre lake is closed to the public! Located in a small town with local shopping, antiques, casual and fine dining, walking and bike trails. This home is conveniently located less than 2 miles from CVS, Stop and Shop, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, Rite Aid, Big Y, Dollar General, and Subway. A short fifteen-minute ride will take you to a movie theatre and restaurants with lots of outdoor seating. A thirty-minute drive brings you to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos.
So, Bring your motorized boat or jet ski, or just enjoy our accommodations which include 3 kayaks, a paddleboat, a rowboat, a private swim platform, and fishing equipment.




Upper level: Master bedroom includes King bed and travel crib, with a private deck overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with lakefront views. A/C units in each individual bedroom. The full bathroom has a jetted tub with skylight.

Lower level: Lower level includes a large bedroom with a full and a twin bed and 4th bedroom has a twin over a full bunk bed.
Here you will also find the kitchen and dining area with comfortable seating for 6, large family room with great water views and a futon that can sleep an additional 2 people.
There is a 50' TV with cable, Firestick, and a DVD player in the living room. The master bedroom has a 30' tv with Firestick and the bun bedroom has a 20' TV with cable.
Second bathroom has shower only.
Large wall unit a/c cools entire first level.
All new linens and towels are included.

This vacation is recommended for families with young children, families with teenagers, seniors, girls getaway, tourists without a car, or make it a romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. The house was clean and comfortable. It was true to the pictures. We found the fully stocked amenities incredibly convenient. There was also a remote AC unit in every room offering individualized comfort.The deck was comfortably furnished, offering a perfect spot to eat meals outdoors or watch the stunning sunsets each night.The community beach was steps away and we also enjoyed swimming at the house. There was a slow sandy entry perfect for the grandchildren.The dock nicely accommodated our 18 ft boat. The lake itself was small and private.Patrick was terrific! He was very responsive to a few minor issues during our stay. He provided great suggestions for local restaurants and shopping. The neighbors were also very friendly and provided great information on boating and hazards on the lake.Overall, it was an amazing vacation! We plan to return next summer!

Perfect lake view

The beds are great. The bunk room has no AC or windows that have screens, so you can't open them. You can't send the kids to bed and keep the door open for AC. Three kayaks!!!! The row boat was full to the brim with water. Paddleboat that weighs about a hundred pounds secured on a fence on its side, did't think we could lift out of the water to replace it. Patrick was very responsive. Pictures are true representation. Peaceful Memory maker. Lake view exceptional.

Family lake experience

We really liked the house, the proximity to the lake, the deck (with a gate that could be closed to keep the little ones in)and the upstairs deck as well! Patrick was a very friendly host. He had trouble contacting us so he sent the neighbor over with his telephone number and asked us to call. He just wanted to make sure that all was well. So nice! It was great and we thank you for your hospitality Patrick!

Birthday Memories

The place is right on the water. There is a dock to sit and view the scenery. It is well equipped with lake accessories like kayaks and life jackets in all sizes. Everything you need inside the lake house is provided. No need to bring towels and bed linen, or kitchen pans or utensils. The town of East Hampton center is right by the lake, making it easy to get items that were forgotten

Wonderful lakefront location!

Perfect lakefront location to host our family's annual vacation. Plenty of room and beds for 6 adults and the 4 grands! Fully stocked with kitchen things, towels and sheets. Loads of fishing, kayaking and swimming steps off the deck. The shallow swim area right there was perfect for the grands to put on their "floaties" and jump in any time...even early in the morning. Small beach next door provided a break for sand digging, jumping and sliding on inflatable trampoline. Lots of seating on the shaded deck. Most lunches and dinners eaten outside. The beautiful sunsets and fishing off the dock or our boat as it got dark were indeed highlights for all. Patrick responded immediately when a couple of things or questions came up. This beautiful, large home is a perfect vacation home for full waterfront enjoyment!

Family vacation

Stayed here for a 3 generation family vacation and the location was perfect. The kids enjoyed swimming to the dock while the grandparents watched from the deck. The house was very comfortable and Patrick was very responsive to all my phone calls. The crib has recently been removed but he immediately supplied me with a pack n play and mattress to accommodate my 10 month old. Dinners on the deck were great and the sunsets are simply beautiful.

Amazing Sunsets!

We had an amazing time at this home. Patrick was very responsive and so great to work with! Property is very shaded until late afternoon and then we got to watch beautiful sunsets every night! Bedroom with bunk beds does not have AC, thankfully it was a cool week so it worked out. Definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful lakeside home

This is the 2nd year in a row that we have stayed at this home. Lake Pocotopaug is a quiet and beautiful lake. The home sits right next to the water. Our family swam and paddle boarded off the dock, ate all our meals on the shady deck and had a fun, relaxing time. East Hampton is a small town but has several good restaurants and a huge grocery store.

The Lake House

We had a great time kayaking and swimming just steps from the front door. The property stays shady until late afternoon, protected by a magnificent oak tree that rises from the center of the deck. Very easy to pick up groceries and forgotten items at the local stores. The kitchen was equipped well enough to allow us to prepare large family meals. A great place for adventures on the lake.

On Golden Pond...Lake

The views from this property are amazing! The sunsets did not disappoint and the amount of places to sit and enjoy the peace of the lake were many. The floating dock was a wonderful place to take a nap in the sun after a swim. The spaces inside provided nice places to gather to eat and relax. The upstairs main bedroom has a wonderful view of the lake and made the morning special to wake up too. There were plenty of linens and towels. The water pressure was very good in the showers. The washer and dryer are a real plus when dealing with wet towels after a day of swimming. I look forward to renting this property again next summer. Thanks for a great lake vacation!

Great lakeside rental!

Patrick’s house was perfect, it was clean, well equipped, nicely decorated, gets a great sunset, but most importantly, the beds were super comfortable. In addition Patrick was a great host. I strongly recommend renting this beautiful lakeside home.

Perfect getaway

The house is very clean and not cluttered. The kitchen is well stocked and Patrick very responsive and always available. Nothing better than to be able to sit and lookout to a beautiful lake which is not crazy busy. Enjoyed swimming and spending time with family, oh yeah and ice cream every night from Chatham Creamery! Quiet town, but didn’t feel a need to go anywhere as we were content hanging at the house. Thank you, Patrick, for sharing! We hope to be back!
