Perfect place to stay on the East End!We booked seven nights at Castaways Cove, and it truly was the perfect place for our family. From the very beginning, Lori was incredibly accommodating. She arranged a pack-n-play for our granddaughter before we arrived, which made traveling so much easier and helped us feel instantly at home. We were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was. It had absolutely everything we needed — including extras like plastic storage containers for leftovers and even a pizza cutter. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into anticipating guests’ needs, which made cooking and enjoying meals together effortless. The beds were very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the extra blankets during our first couple of chilly nights. Every detail seemed considered, and the condo was clean, welcoming, and well prepared for our stay. Castaways Cove provided the perfect setting for relaxing, spending time together, and making wonderful family memories. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully hosted getaway.

We loved stying there

We moved over from the reef side for a couple of nights and we absolutely loved the location and the condo! The updates to the condo are so pretty and the kitchen is stocked with everything you may. need. We will definitely be back!

Second time we stayed in this condo resort area. It has good food at the restaurant/bar, a nice pool and your patio looks out at the ocean/beach - amazing. Owner was great and so was this unit.

Pure Bliss

We love the Reef Resort, it's our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sun and sea. Everything about our trip was wonderful. Lori's condo is very comfortable and is very well equipped. The updates that have been made to the unit are gorgeous, it's clear it's more than a rental, everything is very well maintained. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, and quite nice cookware. There were also little touches like hand soap at each sink that really made the stay comfortable. There is plenty to do on the island, but we mostly stay at the resort, and soak in the calm peaceful vibe. You can get anything you need in the shopping plaza across the street, so it's very easy to just settle in and truly relax. Even our college age kids love it here. This is our families favorite place to "get away". Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We can't wait to return.

Perfect rental for an amazing experience

My family has visited Cayman 5-6 times in the past 10 years, and has stayed in Castaway Cove condos for all but one visit. This particular unit was the best we've seen (not just in Cayman!). Everything was in good shape and the kitchen supplies were way better than we're used to. The location can't be beat, of course, but if you have the choice between multiple units I strongly suggest giving this one a try! Ground floor can't be beat when you are this close to the water. Excellent interactions and very smooth visit with all needs met. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing Piece of Paradise!

Castaways was perfect! Its an excellent condo on the ground floor and the beach is literature right outside your sliding door. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Castaways was fully equipped with all of the amenities of home that often other vrbos choose not to provide. We were so happy to have wine bottle openers, wine stoppers, ice cube trays that were full in the freezer ready, toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, bathroom towels, garbage bags, scissors....i could go on. Lol it was so nice to have a condo that was fully prepared. Castaways is at The Wyndham Reef resort and the resort amenities were exactly what we desired. The pools were nice and we enjoyed the hot tubs. The location of Castaways is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the quiet slower side of Cayman. It was very easy to figure everything out at the condo and if we did have any questions the property managers were super helpful and guided us through. We will definitely be back. The sunrises were spectacular right outside your door.

Easy and Enjoyable East End Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Castaway 122. The beach front unit was clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The resort wasn’t crowded so we were able to borrow the resort’s beach loungers to enjoy the beach under shade from patio. A very pleasant and easy-going location with Italian restaurant, small grocery, and liquor store across the street. We also enjoyed two good meals at the resort restaurant. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Thank you Lori and Robert.

Great family vacation

This East End condo was a perfect vacation away from the crowds. We had the beach and pools almost to ourselves and the resort restaurant was awesome! The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. Plan your day trips to the west side of the island accordingly and your vacation will go very smoothly. Thank you for the beautiful getaway!

Fabulous stay!

We love Cayman Islands. We always stay here at the Reef. This is on the quiet end of the island away from the cruise ships and hotels on SMB. The perfect place to relax. This is my fifth visit to the Reef, but our first time renting from Lori. This stay was absolutely wonderful. Lori is an amazing host, the condo is spacious, bright, clean very well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. It is first floor right on the beach. We had such an amazing time that even after 4 weeks I didn’t want to leave and go home to the cold and snow in the northeast. So, I messaged Lori, and it just so happened that this condo was available, and so we extended our stay for another week!! Her property manager, Robert, was awesome. If we needed anything, he was quick to respond. The first day we were here, the maintenance guys cut fresh coconuts off the trees and passed them out! We made some fresh Pina Coladas from them :) They keep this resort clean and are always maintaining the place. The pools are clean and perfect. The Caribbean BBQ night was great. The beach bar is fun and the bartenders make the best drinks. If you stay here, you will need a rental car if you want to explore all the island has to offer. Be sure to get a car rental in advance, I got a good deal on mine for the month. My friend stayed with me for a week, and wanted to rent a car for the day it was twice the amount $$. Foster’s grocery store is literally across the street. Since we were here for over a month it was good to be able to cook some meals instead of eating restaurant food every single day; after a while, my stomach doesn’t agree with it. I even found a local lady that sells farm fresh eggs. Our fave East End restaurants are Tukka, Big Tree (Arvid is awesome), & Herman’s Fish fry. Overall, this was an amazing trip. We can't wait to return to the Reef.

Outstanding

This was our 4th stay at the Reef so we are very familiar with the property. It was our 1st time at Lori's place and I have to say this unit is huge. It is very bright inside, with beautiful tile, clean, well equipped, the whicker furniture is lovely . The beds are super comfy, linens are top notch and in beautiful ocean greens and blues. It has EVERYTHING you could want, need or think of. That is just the inside. The beach is literally right there and it is stunning. You can snorkel right off it, go under the resorts peer and that of the resort next door, there are thousands of fish to see. (Do not swim out to the Chanel/inlet there is a very strong current). The Resort as a whole is laid back and friendly, the pools and hot tubs are very clean. The guests and owners are all super nice, everyone says hello, the place just draws a really nice group of people. There is almost always some sort of evening entertainment at the outside bar/restaurant. The staff are amazing and we were so happy to see that all but one returned after the Covid lockdowns. The grocery store is directly across the street from the unit, less than 100 feet away. They have anything you may want. Lori is super friendly, thorough and very responsive to any questions/ email she made everything very easy. Her Property Manager Robert, whom we had the pleasure of meeting in person, is absolutely fantastic. The only bad thing about this place is that you may not want to leave.

Location location location

If you want to walk outside your bedroom/family room and put your feet in the sand this is the place for you. Located in the east end of GC you are away from the crowds and have endless peace and quiet. The condo is well stocked with all the necessities and a grocery store directly across the street made it easy to prepare meals at home. We hope to be back to enjoy this slice of heaven someone soon!

Overall experience was near perfect. Great location. Quality of of the linens, mattresses, pillows and towels to all kitchen items were incredible. Even the toilet paper and paper towels were excellent.
