  • This cozy, rustic home is nestled on a hillside in town with the best view of the White Mountains at 7,100 ft of elevation! We are just 20 minutes from Sunrise Ski Park, a few miles away from hiking trails like South Fork and Pole Knoll, fishing such as Big Lake, and the best hunting in Arizona. 20 minutes from the cute town of Greer, and 25 minutes from even cuter Alpine. You'll likely drive past deer, elk, antelope, and bighorn sheep, so be on alert! ;)

Perfect for us

There were four hunters, three men and a woman. The house was perfect for us. Comfortable beds, HOT showers and room to relax after a day in the woods.

Great stay

We flew in from out of state for a funeral and this property was perfect for family. The views are stunning, house is clean, WiFi was better than expected and chase was very responsive. I highly recommend!

We have stayed in a couple houses in Eager, and will definitely stay at this one again!

This was a perfect three bedroom cabin. It had more than enough room for all of us. The views of the sunrise and sunset were unbeatable and was closely located to everything in town. The owner was very responsive to all questions and check in and out with simple. Looking forward to staying here the next time we’re in town.

Clean & Quaint with a Great View

We are familiar with the area and wanted to be close to town for the 4th of July events. We had convenient access to everything, walk to the store or exotic animal ranch or scenic drives up the mountain. The home was very clean, looked just like the photos and had terrific response time from the owners.

Nice Rustic Cabin w/ nice Views

The cabin is in the right place with Great views and walking distance to town. The host is nice, great communication and more than enough amenities. The cabin is rustic like the description reads, but you cant beat it for the price and all it has to offer. Will definitely chooses again!

December Elk hunt family getaway.

The property was as described. The house was very clean and setup perfectly. The host was very good at communicating and was very kind. We all had a great time relaxing and playing games. The house was very comfortable and felt like home. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Rustic and Fun Cabin in Eager

Chase was responsive, helpful and we had a great time in Eager at this location. Its rustic and homey feel was perfect for a holiday get away with framily! Only 30 minutes from Alpine and local stores should you need anything. We will be back!

Great Stay- Beautiful Views

Our stay was fantastic! Chase was very responsive and accommodating to our family. The views are second to none and it was perfect size for me, my wife and our 3 children. I highly recommend anyone visiting Eagar or Springerville to give this property a try. Thanks Chase!

Nice location to explore from

The host Chase is very helpful and responsive. VRBO did not send the usual welcome email with entry information but Chase picked up and got us taken care of. He also made several recommendations for the area that were great.

excellent location

This home is perfectly located for all your fishing, hunting, hiking, rock hounding, and exploration of historical areas. The home sits on a hillside so the views of the area are amazing. A great deck in the rear of the property and an area in the front of the home to enjoy the views. This home is very comfortable, well apportioned, with super easy access. It's close to town. We will stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to others. The host responds quickly and is accommodating.

Cozy sweet home

My family wasn’t able to actually stay at Chase’s cozy little home because of personal reasons but Chase went over and beyond in letting some of our friends go. Our friends LOVED it! They said that the home is just as described. The home is a sweet comfortable place. The beds are comfortable. The location is beautiful and such nice weather! Hopefully one day we can actually experience it for ourselves! Thank you Chase for working with us!

Hot Weather

We were to stay here for a few days. Arrived and no real a/c as advertised. Two portable a/c units and one was not hooked up. I was asked to hook it up but to no avail. Manager said he would send handyman but by that time we had decided this was not where we wanted to stay. Inadequate for the weather. Just too hot to stay so we left.

Rustic

Not exactly what we were expecting. Cabin is old and needs updating. Once you open the door it slams back into you because the couch blocks part of the door. The stairs are very steep to the loft. The beds were comfortable and there were adequate supplies and linens and a nice welcome bag. The entry code worked for one of the locks but the door knob is a manual or key lock and it somehow hit locked. We were locked out and our cell phone was inside. It was quite an ordeal to get us back I to the cabin.

Close to fishing

We booked this property, because we decided at the last minute, to go fishing on a holiday. It’s a very small cabin like structure on a very small lot in the town of Eagar Az. The photos labeled. “Views from this property” are not anywhere near that property. The “yard” is lava rock and the previous people left piles of dog poop behind. The deck hadn’t been swept in a long time. Chairs were filled with leaves and cobwebs. Beds were not queen size but rather full and quite small for 2 adults to fit in. We didn’t cook in the cabin so I can’t say what the kitchen amenities were like. We brought our own coffee but used the coffee maker there. Showers were fine. Game room is 3 feet wide by 8 feet long so pretty snug for more than two adults. Only a few windows had screens and although the kitchen window had one, it was filled with holes so we didn’t open it. The cabin worked for us since we didn’t spend much time there but it needs work and it’s not located in a serene setting as indicated in the listing.

Nice house and clean. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom, loved the bed, very comfortable. I did do some cooking and baking, the stove and oven worked fine, even though it is quite old. There were no measuring cups or spoons, which would have been helpful. Over all we had a good stay.
