Located a mere 12-minute drive to Historic Downtown Durango, 8 minutes to Walmart, 10 minutes to La Plata County Airport, 5 minutes to Mercy, near Vallecito & Lemon reservoirs, minutes to BLM for hiking, easy commute to Purgatory.
    Experience Colorado-life at it's fullest in our home, which features multiple outdoor living spaces, unmatched views of the vistas with plenty of beautiful trees, and easy access to miles of surrounding trail networks and public lands. Our home features a spacious kitchen with bar top space, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors throughout, outdoor gas grill, two living spaces, sleep under the stars in the country yet close to in-town conveniences. Great stay in a wonderful and very well outfitted house beautifully located in the country but still very convenient to Durango. Excellent value for our family of 6 with outstanding amenities and accommodations.

Pictures do NOT do the Redhouse justice!! This home was accommodating for our 3 families. We all had an amazing stay!! Whether you'd like to stay in and enjoy a peaceful time watching movies (there's a large selection of DVD's in loft upstairs)

Wonderful weekend stay!

We had the best time staying here! It comfortably fit 10 adults (and we had a great time sharing the “kids” room, offered plenty of room for gathering together, and overall was a great home base for a long weekend :)

Great house. The kitchen was stocked. And had coffee. It was so nice having a yard. Overall comfortable house. I would stay there again on my next trip to Durango

Lauren was an excellent host. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The home was cozy and just far enough away from the hustle of downtown. We got to see deer outside almost every day that we stayed. Definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking.

Love the Red House!

My family was so impressed by the Red House, they'd like to stay here every time we visit Durango. It's a very cozy home, and so much room to hang out inside or out!

We enjoyed our stay in Durango at the Red House. We travel once a year as siblings to different locations for reunion and enjoyed every thing about this trip.

Friendsgiving

The Red House was a perfect place for friends to gather for our Friendsgiving celebration. The house comfortably accommodated the 6 adults and two dogs. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We drove from Iowa and met our son and his wife from California, with our family dogs. We had the perfect vacation. The place was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described, with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen.You can’t beat the location; you’re ten minutes from downtown Durango, but you’re in the country and have privacy. With a fenced-in backyard, it’s ideal for dogs. We enjoyed the patio with coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We had to contact Lauren once for supplies; she was immediately responsive and so kind! We are already considering another trip to Durango, and this would be where we would plan to stay again. It’s A!

Great family stay!

We spent several days at the Red House in Durango and it was a hit with everyone! The house is clean and charming. The kitchen is well stocks and the beds are comfortable. The two little kids loved the outdoor space and the kids area upstairs. Thanks for the great stay!

Fam vacation house

We stayed at The Red House for a week and throughly enjoyed all the amenities. Close to Durango, fishing locations & drove out to Mesa Verde too. So much to experience in just a short drive. Enjoyed having privacy of a more rural location too.

Trip to Durango

Very nice location for our group. Had a couple of nice dinners using the grill, but it was a little chilly to eat outside. Trip was too short as there are so many things to do and see in SW Colorado.

Adorable home perfect for our stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Red House. Had everything we needed. The fenced yard was perfect for our little old blind dog. This would be a great house for those with kids. Had a great playroom area upstairs. Would definitely stay here again!

Home away from Home

My family and i came over for a destination wedding. This home was a great place to relax, and enjoy peace and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the charming little towns more. The most wonderful part for my hisband and I was hearing the stream run as we laid down to sleep.
