Family Zucalo offers you a relaxing stay in a modern apartment. The apartment is air conditioned and have two double bedrooms, one Bathroom with shower and toilet, living/dining, kitchen and a Terracetable on the Pool

Kitchen:
Kitchen with oven, ceramic hob and extractor fan, large fridge / freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishes and cutlery and of course pots, pans, Water glasses etc. Ground spices, sugar, olive oil, Vegeta are available cleaning cloths, sponge and dry towels, of course too.

Living - dining area:
Couch with pullout function, 32 "LED satellite TV.
Dining table with seating for 4 persons.

Bathroom:
Shower, Sink with mirror, toilet and fitted wardrobes.
Small towels, hand soap are available.

Bedroom 1:
The room has a window and a dormer that can be completely darkened. Double bed 2m x 2m, bedside table with night lamp.

Bedroom 2:
The room has a skylight which can be completely darkened. Double bed 1,8m x 2m, bedside table with night lamp.

Villa Celenca is located in Rijeka dubrovacka (marina of Dubrovnik), 6 km away from the old town, 5 km from the bus station, 25 km from the airport and 10 m from a bus stop. The connection with the city center and the beaches in Lapad is provided by a regular bus line. The buses leave every 20 minutes.

Boat dock: For guests who own a motorboat we have a dock near Villa Celenca.

Villa Celenca is located near the marina, which is a nice place for walks and a very interesting place for sailboat, motorboat and yacht

Medjugorje, Mostar, Montenegro Makarska and Split: are great destination for day trips with family or friends.

Geniales vacaciones

Hemos estado hospedados mi marido, mis dos hijos y yo. La casa es preciosa, el entorno súper tranquilo, los propietarios que viven en la misma casa son súper atentos, hospitalarios y te aconsejan sobre cualquier tema que dudes. Casa con fácil conexión a Dubrovnik centro y/o cualquier pueblo de alrededor. El apartamento está equipado con lo que se puede necesitar en el día a día. Sin lugar a dudas repetiría y recomendaría este alojamiento. Hemos tenido unas vacaciones geniales!!!!

Bon séjour entre amies.

Nous avons passé 1semaine très agréable. La chambre est propre et bien entretenue. Le seul bémol est l’accueil d’un des hôtes (un monsieur parlant allemand) il est préférable de s’adresser à la dame qui est accueillante, bienveillante et beaucoup plus aimable. La machine à laver est citer dans les équipements mais il faut demander aux hôtes qui vivent en dessous si ils peuvent laver le linge (15 Cuna la machine et prévoyez votre produit). Nous avons bien appréciés le séjour mise à part ces quelques désagréments. Nous conseillons cet hébergement.

Proerty of good standard. Warm welcome from resident proprietors. Welcome pack would be useful but proprietors did some shopping at our request prior to arrival. Were not aware from expedia description that there were 5 apartments there and that we would all be sharing the one small pool. This apartment has no views other than peering from high bedroom windows. Table provided in garden is at back of property with view of vegetable patch.Proprietors asked that we did not leave air-conditioning on when we were out but this meant that the apartment which is in the roof space was unbearably hot on our return. No hanging space provided. Good bus service right outside and nice restaurants in easy walking distance.

Spotlessly clean but very unwelcoming

We were on the second floor, which seems newly renovated, was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. However, the promised Wifi was not available in this apartment and therefore the TV did not work (not a huge problem for us as we don't go on holiday to watch TV but it shouldn't be advertised as having that facility). There is no outside seating with this apartment and when we tried to have lunch one day at a bench in the garden, we were told in no uncertain terms that that furniture belonged to another apartment and we were not to sit there! We could sit at the owners table but as they had long lunches and dinners there with their friends, it was never an appropriate time for us. There was no welcome pack - a bottle of water at least would have been appreciated - and therefore no hints and tips as to bus numbers and times for example. I read a visitors book which waxed lyrical about bowls of fresh figs and grapes and homemade wine offered and even a welcome night - don't expect any of that. All the owner had to say was that she wanted it to rain! You are allocated one 'towel' each - it's a small hand towel and it, and the bedding, is not refreshed while you are there. There is a washing machine in the owners bit if you can summon up the courage to ask to use it. There is no BBQ outside - if there was, it was hiding and we weren't shown one. The outside kitchen is a normal kitchen in a shed, which is kept locked. I am 5' 3" and it took 5 breast stroke arms to cross the pool, so not as big as in the picture and the sun beds are hellishly uncomfortable so purchase of a mat is a good idea. There is one restaurant in this residential area (not bad), 2 supermarkets and 3 bakeries. The only one small and very popular bar is down by the river and the beach is a shingle affair on the side of the river approximately 4m x 3m. We were told we didn't need a car. The bus to Dubrovnik is very frequent but very popular so packed to the gills and is fine if you are on a short stay. If you want to see anything different and are in the area for longer than 5-6 days, a car is advisable. Croatia is a beautiful country and I would recommend a visit - but not to these apartments - we actually checked into a hotel for a couple of nights, a welcome relief from the atmosphere and gritted teeth of the owner!
