"This place was one of the priciest but it had good reviews. This is your typical lipstick on a pig place. They do the little thing to make it look better but it's still run down underneath. On top of that when I search for a room you get one price but as soon as you check out they add an extra person surcharge of $35. I have never seen that. The continental breakfast was not even average you're better off going to the market across the street. For what they charge this place is way over priced."

"Terrific stay, big room, all the amenities you need, nice fridge, coffee maker. Table for dining inside and out. Super close to the hot spring (pro tip- buy your tickets at the front desk) and tons of wildlife around the property. Couldn't ask for a better host than Tom. Close to restaurants/bars - all walkable under 10 mins. Will absolutely be visiting again and will carry my Gables key chain with pride!"

"We have stayed here numerous times over the past 10 years and it’s definitely not the same. I believe it was taken over two years ago and it’s gone downhill. outside of the property, mainly the landscaping is terrible. The breakfast was a joke. Staff have zero personality. Couldn’t even say good morning to anyone. Had to write down our order which was written on a whiteboard. Given to the waitress with not a thank you or anything. Definitely would not stay here again. "The view from the balcony was amazing but the hotel and room, though clean, were dated. The air conditioning was in the sitting area and not in the bedroom so it was very warm when trying to sleep. The toilet was running constantly which made it hard to sleep as bathroom was right beside bed and the wifi was non existent. Beds were relatively comfortable."
