Appreciated the $15 pet fee, which, when compared to the $30-35 fee that some cheaper hotels in the city were charging, made this specific hotel cost competitive AND I think I had a much nicer stay than other hotels would have been. The room was comfortably sized and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Everywhere smelled clean. Only complaint was that the shower didn't get as hot as my partner likes.

Spotless, comfortable bed, AC effective, decent breakfast and parking. Close enough to downtown St Louis. We enjoyed dinner in the baseball stadium. Pre buy tickets to the Arch or you can’t go up into it ☹️

I booked for a single and I ended up with a double, first room I went into, smelled like it has been smocked in, the guy at the front desk was super nice and gave me another room, spent a quiet night, but in the morning I woke up and saw bed bugs walking on the pillows. Had to leave ASAP.

The first room we had, had hair all over the bed on the sheets, and tub. they were very good gave us a different room, tub had a ring, went to get disinfectant wipes and cleaned it, pool was closed. Breakfast was ok

Honestly would never stay here again. The room was so dirty. We travel to Garden city a lot and have stayed at almost every hotel in town. Just whatever’s price is decent, and this is one we will never book again.

It is going through a remodel, so the lobby was pretty dusty from construction. The room was very clean. The receptionist was difficult to understand as I don't think English was her native language, but I was able to get checked in after a little confusion. I'd have liked a little bigger pillows, but I managed well with what was provided.

Our room was clean when we checked in but for some reason we had no maid service during our entire stay-3 days. We had to go to the front desk to ask for clean towels and both our trashcans were full and overflowing by the time we left. We were also not able to use the pool-it was under some kind of repairs or maintenance, or waiting for certification. We got several different stories from the clerks. One of the clerks did give us a discount because of that-which we appreciated.

The front desk lady was very nice & helpful. Our room on the other hand was terrible! As soon as we got to our room & opened our door, it smelt of mold/mildew very badly, the carpet felt grimy/damp, the bedding smelled like it hadn’t been washed, the beds were very small for them being queens, the window blind pulley was broke so we couldn’t let natural light in, the toilet was loose, there was little hot water, the tv kept shutting off on its own, tissue box was empty & there was a screw in the pool area that our daughter almost stepped on. Was not impressed at all. I don’t know how the other rooms were, but it was not a great experience for us. We talked about going to the other hotel we usually stay at, but didn’t want to deal with trying to get our kids & belongings gathered up & we didn’t want to deal with the cancellation & getting refunded.

A place that wish I would could of gone back in time and reserved a place where the pool worked, the bed sheets didn’t have wholes in them and the door to the room didn’t have to break into every time you were trying to get in or out of. Then on top of that you get multiple charges of certain amounts when you were told by the staff at the front desk that it was only going to cost me a certain amount and I kept getting charged more and more. I go to the front desk and I just keep getting the run around from the General Manager as well.

The stay was great.. however.. I would have liked to have been prepared for the maintenance they were doing. But either way, it shows they are aware of issues and are actually doing something to fix problems and they aren't ignoring them. So things will be even better the next time I stay!

The staff insulted the town that I live in for no reason at check in. The water in the shower was luke warm at best at night and cold in the morning. The staff closed the pool at 9 even though the book says 10 and the hot tub did not work. The cable box did not work in room 216 ( there was no cable to the box), the other 2 rooms that I rented, for our get together, did. Also the wifi was not good enough to stream the free channels on their vizio. Our room had less than a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper, not going to work with my wife and 2 daughters, and the staff gave my wife an attitude when asking for another roll. I didn't bother trying their breakfast so can't comment on that but the place sucks and we will not be back.

The room was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was wonderful. We travel back home to put flowers on our parents/other relatives graves so come before each holiday. This was by far the BEST breakfast we have had and we change where we stay each trip back.
