February 2019 Samson's fountain and Council Hall, Ceske Budejovice, Czech republic The centre of my hometown with Baroque fountain from 1721-27 with statues by Josef Dietrich, the four Atlants holding a stone bowl with Samson taming a lion. In the background you can see the also Baroque Council Hall from 1727-1730 and by design of architect Anton Martinelli. The square of 100x100 meters dimension, holds the name of Czech king Premysl Otakar II. who was the founder of this royal city back in ca. 1275.

June 2015 Samson's fountain, České Budějovice, Czech republic This fountain is the centre of my hometown which celebrates 750th anniversary this year. Built in 1721-27 on the square named in the memory of the city founder, king Premysl Otakar II.
