"Not fancy but clean. As advertised. Property short way up a hill from Beach with beautiful pristine water with a decent reef tropicals by the dozen. Need a car. Watch out for the potholes as you drive the island. Worth it."

"We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"

We loved our stay - the house had absolutely everything we needed - plenty of towels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, great WiFi. Loved having coffee in the morning and evening drinks while looking at the view and listening to the waves crash. The 2 patios (upper and lower - right on the rocky beach) were great and also perfect for star gazing at night "
