"Fine and clean, but only provided 1 towel in total for us as a couple. Only 1 pillow each. I asked for 1 more and got an extra pillow added the following night. Room felt much smaller than it looked in photos but it is a budget hotel for a reason. Fine for 2 nights but would have struggled for longer. Nice and convenient to many food places and opposite great cafe for breakfast. Further from town centre than I realised but lots of buses heading in."

"Location is very good as it is close to the train station and city centre. Staff were very kind and helpful. Standard rooms are fairly small with small windows compared with some other hotels. The frosted glass door on the bathroom and part of the bathroom wall mean that anyone who gets up in the middle of the night and puts the light on wakes up anyone sharing the room. Breakfast choice is okay, although I had read on some reviews that it was great. On two of the mornings there were not...

"Room decor was lovely, clean and tidy. Staff were helpful & friendly. Shower door leaked at the bottom, seal missing so floor was soaked every time we showered. There was also no room service available."

"The experience depends hugely on the room you get and whether there's a wedding. Someone with a sense of humour assigned number 101 to the room closest to the wedding venue, and alas, this is what we got. YMCA, 500 miles etc was on the go until midnight, and we were awoken at 7am by the excited chatter of the bridesmaids for the next wedding, fully audible through the cardboard walls. To be fair the staff dealt with the issue very well when we complained. With zero fuss, we were moved to a room...

"Obwohl Deluxe Doppelzimmer, war das Zimmer sehr klein. Alles wirkt sehr dunkel und eng, durch die dunklen Möbel. Das Bett war sehr bequem, mit guter Matratze. Kleine Kaffee und Teestation auf dem Zimmer und ein Kühlschrank. Keine Steckdose für den Hotelfön (Hightech Gerät) im Bad. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und praktisch für Nutzer des Gloucester Green Bus Bahnhofs. Aber auch für diejenigen, die die Stadt erkunden möchten."
