"We needed an accommodation relatively close to Blacks Harbor in order for us to travel to Grand Manan to visit family and TRUTH BE TOLD - this was the only accommodation available for our family of 5. We had a chaotic trip. We flew in from Alberta, one of our kids (we learned) is very susceptible to motion sickness... (its our first BIG family trip) there were challenges with our rental car. It was a tough travel day all around however!!! I am SO pleased that this was our first night...

I made a simple breakfast one morning for the two of us. Our host said he'd clean the dishes and pots. They were low on dish soap and paper towels.
