"Lovely stay here we came for my daughter's birthday. Lovely views, cottage itself was nice and had everything you needed and Mike was lovely. However it could do with a little pick me up there were a few things that had wear and tear and the beds weren't the best but these are my only issues overall very nice would definitely consider going back."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and cosy. Checking in and out was easy and all the information we needed was provided beforehand. There is a handy guide to use upon arrival about the accomdation and area. It was lovely to be able to have our dogs there and it had plenty of space for them to run around."

"This was our second stay at marches way, and once again it was an fantastic break away, they had made some pleasant changes to the shepherds hut, including a rope border around the decking, smaller mesh on the gate across the green, which was especially good for our two little dogs, and also some good clear instructions for the hot tub, which was lovely and hot upon arrival and stayed that way through out the entire holiday. "We visited for a mini break in the first few days of 2026, looking for a peaceful location to consume the final cheese and port from Christmas and set up our intentions and plans for the year. The lodge is beautifully set on the site, and feels very luxurious. Underfloor heating and the hottub were invaluable as the snow arrived! A lovely location to explore Elan Valley and the dams, and the recommendation of The Crown Inn was spot on for lunch."
