"Almost a year since our last visit to this magnificent beach house. Such a glorious setting with a great little pool surrounded by so many tall palm trees all fenced off from the deserted beach at the edge of the property. This hotel is really quiet and peaceful taking only a maximum of eight guests at any one time. "We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The accommodation is not in the middle of the city but in a quieter location, that suited us perfectly. The accommodation borders a long, beautiful beach that leads you to the Surf paradise. Lovely outdoor shower in our cabana. Worked well with the fan mosquito net. Good service with everything from food, bikes, washing clothes. Very nice and accommodating staff. We appreciated the accommodation so much that we chose to book another night. Lungy and nice....

"En general bastante bien si lo comparamos con otros hoteles del alrededor. La casa esta en un jardín bonito y las habitaciones son silenciosas. Lo malo es que algunas de las habitaciones no dan las ventanas al exterior, no son muy grandes y no hay agua caliente. El inconveniente principal es que para ir a hacer surf, se encuentra un poco lejos. Lo positivo, el personal es amable y atento. La comida esta muy buena."

"Rustic hotel accommodation right on beach, 10 minute drive out of Arugam Bay. Tuk Tuk accessible. Basic accommodation with wifi only in verandah of our unit (11), and in dining area. Lovely atmosphere and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Loved their Sri Lankan meals. It’s not 5 star hotel but the staff make up for it. "
