"We stayed as family with 2 teenage boys in the Grand Residence for 5 nights which was spectacular, with views across the bay and rainforest. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cart ride down to the beach was fun. We had a great time, however were disappointed with the food - one night the fish was inedible. We were also let down by the constant power outages and delay in firing up the back up generator - we were left in the dark with no running water for hours on our first night....

"Due to the location of the resort, it is extremely difficult to communicate with anyone, either before arriving or while waiting for a boat to transport you back to the resort after spending a day away. Every adventure we chose to participate in was amazing and the resort employees who accompanied us provided exceptional service. Other than eating chicken every day and sometimes twice a day, the food was exceptional! We relaxed and that was what we were hoping to be able to do! Thank you!"

"Unique was the friendliness of ALL the staff and Mary's awesome cooking. The place is very well maintained, great sea wiew, nicely located, although requiring -7 min walking down to the beach. You need a transport to go shopping, to the airfield or to the main town with ATM machine. Less ideal was the music from the "restaurant" down at the road. All in all a place I really recommend. "

"My wife and I ventured to Sau Bay around the 20th of June, shortly after it opened. At a high level, we give the place 6 out of 5 stars! At the top of our experience was the incredible staff that greeted us and took care of us throughout our 5-day stay. "Nukubati Island Resort is an amazing place. It is remote and there is nothing nearby like restaurants and shops. But the resort food is excellent with a 2-3 entree choices at each mean and lots of the food is grown in their own garden. There is no restaurant schedule so you can eat at any time of day.
