"What is unique is its physical location to the ocean. The property is on the land side affording me a spectacular view of sunrise. I was on floor 2 with another floor above mine. The property itself is thoughtfully laid out & embellished seasonally. It is a large complex. I would imagine maintenance as well as updating is a constant pressure & motivation for the owners to keep up with the times."

"Very clean. Presentation was great. View is beautiful. Hotel Service is world-class. I was disappointed with the restaurant food and their service, given the buzz online. Lastly, the only real complaint is they didn’t have a fitted bed sheet. A none fitted sheet believe it or not moves while your sleeping and then your body is most certainly touching a surface that I imagine is not cleaned as frequently as a fitted bed sheet. Eww!!! Add a fitted sheet!"

"The property was approximately 2 miles from Perkins Cove so most of the attractions in the area or walkable in general. The property is nice and clean, but a little dated."

"Came back to Anchorage by the Sea after getting married there 16 years ago. Another great experience, staff, amenities, relaxation , area amazing."

"Our room was very nice, big and spacious and spotless! The mattress was very comfortable and you can’t beat the location into town, a very easy walk. It sits right next to Jonathan’s Restaurant which I highly recommended as well!"

"Liked the location and the ease of getting into our room. Room had plenty of space. The only negative was the bed; mattress was not comfortable. Woke up with aching shoulders and back."

"Beach view"

"Perfect if your dog is part of your trip."

"Pros: - Warm - Close to the beach - No vermin - It felt safe enough Cons: - Internet only reached spots of our apartment so we accidentally burned through data - very few kitchen cookware to cook with - there wasn’t any way to clean up sand we accidentally brought in on our shoes - the beds were horrendously uncomfortable with massive roll-together - I got charged and extra “resort fee” when I checked in because “Expedia didn’t include it in the price.” In hind-site I should have challenged it...

"Was right on beach"

"While the room was nice and beds comfy, and nice balcony with small table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee outside in warmer weather. But traveling with an elderly relative that used a walker, even though we were close to the handicap ramp, we were quite a distance from the breakfast in the office and very steep long driveway to walk. So had to get food on tray and hike back to room."

"Easily one of the best along Maine’s Southern Coast. The location to town, shops, restaurants all walkable. Well kept jewel right on the entrance to the Ogunquit River."

"The historic Colony Resort had just closed for the season, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their more modern and simple Coveside Building which backs up to the beautiful woods and tidal creek on the same resort grounds. Our room had a balcony with chairs allowing us to enjoy the view and fresh air. The room was nicely decorated and featured a Nespresso Coffee Maker, refrigerator, very large screen TV, a very comfortable king size bed and pillows, desk, and a walk in shower bath area....

"I loved my room, the view was wonderful."
