"The house was as advertised. Neighborhood is quaint enjoyed our morning walks to the lake. We were visiting our son at UCONN and location was convenient to campus, the Hartford football and basketball arenas (15 minutes to all). Loved the Woke Breakfast and Coffee spot in Coventry so much that we went both mornings. One "watch out", the house is an older lake cottage and may not be ideal for people with mobility issues. "Ben’s place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to UConn and in a pretty area. The set up was great with a very comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, lots of hot water. The owner also freshly ground our coffee. The only downside was the sounds from the owners main house above-footsteps, voices… all normal but hard to ignore-sound proofing would go a long way. Good stay overall. "

"My husband and I moved to Texas a few years ago but have family in that area. It was such a wonderful and cozy place to stay with absolutely everything you could be and then some! We were able to bring our pupper who had such a good time zoomie-ing all over the yard and walking through the trails right on site. "It was overall so wonderful! The perfect place for a cozy weekend getaway. The beds and the pillows were very comfortable. Owners very friendly and accommodating. We loved the sheep, the cats. And the dogs, and the little store in the barn. I would definitely stay here again. The one negative (but still a five star place despite the one negative) was that the shower had zero water pressure, basically a small trickle of water. "
