"Very over priced for the quality, amenities and location. In the pictures there are decorations and the place looks homey - not in reality. The 2 refrigerators were either unplugged or didn’t work. The water smelled terrible-but that wasn’t the host’s fault. Also not the host’s fault, but it’s on the other side of the Missouri River from the Katy Trail. Internet was very spotty."

"We loved the Carriage house! It's in a great location, there was plenty of space and it was well stocked with everything we needed for our short stay. The only drawback was that we couldn't find the Wifi network listed in the paperwork, but we were only there for one night, so it wasn't a big issue. We would definitely book it again when we're in the area in the future."

"This was fine for our overnight to Jefferson City. We were able to walk to the Capitol and the area around it. The place was mostly clean-there was a dirt stain on the bath mat that was obvious and unattractive. The air conditioning controls are in a lock box and you are unable to control the room temperature. Also, there was food in the freezer, which made it feel like we had kicked someone out of their living space. If you need a hair dryer, bring your own-there is not one on the property."

I was in town for a very hectic weekend of activities and stayed on for an extra day and night to decompress and enjoy the peace and apparent solitude: the large, shaded porch, the small pond, the bird song, and surrounding woods. "Fun little place right on the Katy Trail. Hosts were very responsive, and we enjoyed our stay. Know two things: 1) bathroom is in a separate building next door; 2) food choices, especially before the weekend, are almost non existent. But that's not the owners fault-they provided a great place to stay and we will do so again next time we are on the Katy. Thanks!"
