"Me and my girlfriend had a great time in this cottage up in the mountains just 30 minutes from downtown Asheville. Very quiet and peaceful. "

"Great communication…enjoyed the stay…thanks"

"We had an incredible stay at this cottage in Mars Hill. The property is absolutely stunning, with 70 private acres of rolling hills, mountain views, peaceful streams, and plenty of space to explore. It was the perfect place to relax and disconnect. One of the highlights was spending time with the friendly and quant downtown area about 10 mins away from the property, which made the experience even more memorable. The cottage itself was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with everything we...

"We truly loved our stay at the Highland Hideaway!!! Very clean and cute place!! Everything you could need or want while your away from home The hot tub was amazing !! The owners are great people and made sure our stay was perfect!! 🤩 we will definitely be back!! Plus the bonus is that we was able to walk up to the camels they have and was able to feed them and have our pictures taken with them ! "

"Nice, clean, and quiet place - we really enjoyed our visit."

"It was the perfect size for a getaway! There were 2 of us staying in the cabin which was perfect, could easily have had 2 others and not felt crowded. The bathroom was very nice, the floor would get slippery after showers but nothing insane. There were plenty of utensils and cookware in the kitchen to where we cooked pretty much every meal there without an issue. Everything was very easy to use and figure out and the property was gorgeous. From the cabin there is very easy access to the...

"Loved staying in a centrally located place. It was perfect for us. The check in and communication was outstanding. Air conditioning kept the temperature perfect inside. My teenage girls loved being ableTo walk to Bluff Mountain Outfitters and Artisun on their own. We will be back for more fun in Hot Springs!"

"Very clean and well maintained. Only stayed one night but it was perfect for me and my wife while spending a weekend in Asheville. Check in process was a breeze. Very steep gravel driveway. My Front wheel drive SUV couldn’t do it so we had to park a little way away from the house (no big deal). Overall very nice stay. "

"What an absolute gem of a property! Joe is a spectacular host and this is a beautiful place. 10 out of 10 would recommend! We booked at the last minute for an impromptu 2-night stay over the July 4, 2026 weekend (2 adults and a dog). Joe immediately reached out to let us know that our stay would coincide with a huge Independence Day celebration at Twin Willows, in case this wasn’t the vibe we were hoping for. I appreciated the consideration and heads-up. We arrived in the middle of the party,...

"Property was fantastic for a mountain getaway with friends. Tons of amenities were as advertised and the host communication was on point. Will keep this property in mind for future trips!"

"Our stay at the cabin was a nice long weekend getaway central to Asheville, NC and the Great Smoky mountains, and white water rafting in Marshall, NC. We made day trips to each location and the cabin was in a beautiful remote and relaxing spot. The hosts were great, and even spent time with my son feeding the animals on their farm. They also have a working nursery, so we enjoyed getting to peruse the greenhouses. The only downside was the cabin had a little funky smell, but it's an old house and...

"Honestly the owner was excellent. Exactly as stated and more. It’s all about the pets. She should teach others what it is to be a pet host. I can not believe I found this gem and would recommend everyone that has a pet to stay here faster than in a heart beat. It was a wonderful stay and my Zuzu actually felt at home. Thank you"

"I cannot recommend this property enough. The cabin and its location far exceeded my expectations. The cabin was very spacious with many added amenities (pool table, video games, hot tub, etc). The view of the mountains was absolutely incredible. Every morning we were able to see local wildlife (deer, turkey, woodchuck). The property owner was incredibly helpful and always replied within minutes. 10/10, I would stay here again!"
